The new flower beds (they didn't exist seven years ago....) look really good! All in all, we had a wonderful week, it was like "coming home" after such a long time.

This time we had a pitch near the "Zetrum". The view of the sea and the small beach was incredibly beautiful. However, you have to know that you can also hear a lot of the animation near the center. Guests who want peace and quiet should book... a pitch further out.
The sanitary facilities were always clean and plentiful, even when the pitch was fully booked.
The campsite store offers everything you need, including bread rolls and croissants. Unfortunately, the latter always ran out after a short time. They could have baked them again. Reception and service are excellent.
There is a branch of the Ankerbar on the campsite. There you could enjoy very good and inexpensive burgers and co.
We were there over Easter, one of the best times to fish for sea trout. The beach at Ostseecamp is an absolute hotspot for this. I even managed to outwit a 70cm trout there.
Kühlungsborn and Warnemünde are recommended as excursion destinations. Cycling and hiking are very easy from the campsite.
Conclusion: a great campsite that can be recommended without reservation. Not too big, great infrastructure and top location. We have booked again for the fall. (Kolibri) (old, partially defective, worn out), we gave the campsite a second chance as we were otherwise very happy with everything else. This year we stayed in the "Möwe" bungalow, which was of a better standard. However, there was also damage to the bungalow and the furniture, and the mattresses in the "children's room" and 2nd bedroom were also completely worn out. The cleanliness in the bathroom of the bungalow leaves room for improvement on closer inspection (especially in the shower area).
It would also be nice to have a clothes horse in the bungalows so that you can hang up towels or other laundry, and there is no parasol on the terrace. So far we have only been here in the spring but for a summer vacation on the Baltic Sea, where wet bathing suits or similar are always an issue or you want to sit comfortably on the terrace but not in the blazing sun - these two things are essential for me.

Electricity on site and water not far away. The staff were also super friendly 👍 The site is wonderfully situated on the cliffs. Hiking trails to Rerik or Kühlungsborn go directly along the site.... Wash houses clean and well maintained, showers with timer, which can be a bit tight, especially if you're showering with a child.
Dogs are allowed on the site and there are lovely walks outside the campsite. According to the... signs, walking dogs on the beach is prohibited. There is a dog beach, but it is anything but beautiful and cannot be reached when there are waves. But here, too, it is forbidden to walk your dog on the beach.
All the staff at the campsite were always friendly and helpful.
The mini market is well equipped and the staff there were always very friendly.
You can visit the Ankerbar and the Italian restaurant, the food at both was very tasty, although the Ankerbar is a bit more expensive.
All in all, it was a very nice stay.
