After we arrived, we were happy that we hadn't booked longer. De camping oogt bij aankomst erg rommelig en heeft weg van een parkeerplaats.

De plekken zijn behoorlijk krap te noemen en bieden geen enkele privacy. Er lijkt alles... aan gedaan te zijn om zoveel mogelijk caravans / campers op zo min mogelijk m2 meter te plaatsen. Therefore everything looks clean and cozy.
En ja elektra per kw afrekenen, blijft een gek dingetje. In de winter begrijp ik het, maar in de zomer... De plaatsen zijn al behoorlijk aan de prijs, waarom elektra als extra verdienmodel gebruiken? En ja dit wisten wij van te voren, maar toch voelt dit niet heel goed.
Sanitary: *****
Het sanitair een netjes en schoon. De douches zijn fijn en je hoeft niet continue op een knopje te drukken om water te krijgen. Al het sanitair zag er schoon uit en werd ook regelmatig schoongemaakt.
Wat wel eigenaardig is, is dat er een code gebruikt moet worden om de deur naar de toiletten en douches te openen. Dit komt wat ons betreft niet heel erg gastvrij over. Niet naar de eigen gasten, maar ook niet naar mogelijke gasten die in de toekomst nog eens willen reserveren. He maken gedurende de dag op de camping zoveel mensen gebruik van het toilet, dan maken die paar extra mensen/passanten eigenlijk ook niet meer uit. Het zou misschien wat anders zijn als de camping op een drukke doorgaande weg lag waar de hele dag mensen langs wandelen, maar dat is het niet, because de camping ligt in een uithoek van het meer.
Surroundings ***
De omgeving is erg mooi en je kunt er heerlijk wandelen. Een winkel / supermarket vind je niet om de hoek. Therefore you really have to make a quick walk or park your car. Fietsen hebben wij niet gedaan, maar daar leent de omgeving zicht wel heel goed voor. Neem dan wel een elektrische fiets mee, because het kan flink stijgen en dalen.Automatisk oversat.

Too bad, it would be a great opportunity for a team to offer good food at a reasonable price.

To the shop The staff don't understand you when you ask for an article you can't find and secondly you don't get a shopping bag which is a disadvantage for people who can't walk well and have to use a stick to get around.StayThe campsite itself is in a nice quiet location close to public transport which is easily accessible on foot even with disabilities. There was plenty of hot water in the showers, even when all the cabins were occupied.NegativFound the coffee price of 3.8 for a latte a bit steep... Attention from 9:30 there are no more croissants, etc. only breadSuper first camping experienceFirst camping trip for us as a young couple (20&19). We were by far the youngest on the site and still felt very welcome. We enjoyed the peace and quiet that ensued.
The pitches are nice and big, our 6-man tipi tent fitted perfectly on pitch 111 with our small car.
Nevertheless, I would recommend this... site a little less to other tent campers and advise them to look for a pitch a little further back on the site where there are more trees and shade. We didn't need it in the bad weather, but it's good to know.
The sanitary facilities were really great! Super clean and modern.
We were also very happy about the cellar room for drying laundry.
Tip-top campsite with slightly overpriced coffee/croissants but still 5***** from us.
We look forward to coming back <3

The cleanliness of the sanitary facilities was outstanding at all times - even though the campsite was fully booked over the long weekend. It's also very commendable that the use of the sanitary facilities is included... in the price, so you don't have to rely on annoying chip cards or small change.
As I myself belong to the endangered species of "tent campers", it is particularly important for me to mention the following: While on many campsites you get the feeling as a tent camper that you are only a second-class camper, at Bankenhof we have a large meadow area directly adjacent to the forest at our disposal. Furthermore, electricity is not charged at a flat rate but according to consumption, so that I was ultimately only charged 2kW or 1.80 euros (consumers: compressor cool box, charger, kettle).
I can't fully rate the Titisee restaurant on the campsite, unfortunately the current reviews are mostly negative. I didn't eat there, but enjoyed having a beer or two at the bar in the evening. The young, Ukrainian staff were always attentive and very friendly.
Conclusion: Although the nearby, terraced Sandbank campsite stands out due to its location directly on the lake, I would come back to Bankenhof at any time and can only warmly recommend this place.Automatisk oversat. - Reiner S.maj 2025PositiveSuper clean. Unfortunately, all the pitches in front of the barrier were occupied, so we were given a nice, quiet pitch at reception. The pitches and the whole site were large and clean. We also really liked... the sanitary facilities and the opportunity to play table tennis.
The kiosk had fresh bread rolls and delicious cappuccino in the morning.
We can't say anything about the restaurant as we were there at night, but it also looked nice and had a beer garden.
