Small square on the outskirts of Verona. Great for visits to Verona. Good connection to public transport. Nice operators with a small farm shop selling olive oil and wine.

Unfortunately, construction work was taking place on an extension during our stay. Unfortunately we were not informed in advance.

Despite fewer seats, everything is available. Very well maintained and clean. Nice operator. Ideal for a short visit to Verona.

Just outside Verona, 20 minutes by bike to the center. Shopping nearby by car.

Highway noise, public transport quite far away and stopped at night, small sanitary facilities
quite ok, cleanliness could be improved
After the young gentleman at reception kept us waiting for 2 hours (despite reservation, 12-14 o'clock), we were allowed to move into our pitch. The sanitary facilities are small and were hardly cleaned. At first there was no hot water in the shower, but the damage was quickly repaired after we complained.... There are cycle paths to the center (20 min). The bikes can be stored in the Garage Italia not far from the opera for 5 euros (highly recommended).
The highway nearby is very audible, also the dog in the neighboring house.
A hike from Plan di Castagne southwards gives a wonderful view over the area. In the valley behind there are beautiful olive groves.
In the Ristorante Pizzeria Rocco Rosso in the neighboring village on the left you can eat well and with Italian flair.

quiet, cosy, clean, lots of flowers and bushes, nice owners, winery shop (local wine, honey and olives)

few mature trees (planting in progress), no playground (neither for children nor for sports) only a grassy area in front of the reception

Small family campsite in Verona
We were passing through at the end of August and stopped at the campsite for 2 days. The site is perfect for a visit to Verina. The bus stop is 400m away and the bus goes directly to the arena in 15 minutes (€1.30 per journey).

The site is beautifully situated, small but spacious. The owners are hospitable.... They produce olive oil, honey and wine.

The sanitary facilities are clean. There are four toilets in total (two of which are standing toilets), which is a bit of a shame.

We felt very comfortable and would come again.
