Sloping campsite. You should like animals.
Very British
You have to like the place. It is in a very quiet location. It is important for campers that it is sloping. Chickens run around freely and sometimes look past the tent. The operators are very friendly. There is a small lounge where you can sit and read. There is a fish and chips shop, a restaurant and... a butcher on the road selling everyday goods. The area is very hilly for cyclists. For motorists, a good base for driving to the beaches of Saltburn and Redcar or driving to Whitby. Great area. The site is located in the North York Moors National Park. Good starting point for walks.
