The peace and quiet and the birdsong every morning!

Like everywhere else, there are well-behaved dogs and dog owners who make sure that the dog remains calm and does not bark constantly.
A really nice quiet place
Really very quiet location, friendly service. As on every campsite where dogs are allowed, there are the well-behaved ones and the annoying barkers. The only thing we really missed was a restaurant on the campsite with home-style cooking. Otherwise we were completely dissatisfied. You can be in Sankt Wolfgang in 10 minutes, but the sidewalks are also rolled up here at 18:00 in the evening.

Great location right on the lake with the opportunity to jump on the SUP, swim or let the dog into the water. Not particularly large, so very quiet Dogs more than welcome. Everything top clean and well maintained. Sometimes there is homemade cake. Owner is very nice and gave us tips for excursions and hikes.

The perfect spot on Lake Wolfgangsee
If you are looking for a quiet, family-run campsite on Lake Wolfgangsee, this is the place for you. Great view over the lake, spacious pitches, and everything top clean and well-kept. Electricity and water included. We were given tips for a hike and were able to stay 2 nights spontaneously despite the Whitsun weekend. We will definitely be back.

The location in general is perfect, quickly on foot or by bike in St Wolfgang, as benso a great starting point for hiking

Seeterrassencamping, an oasis of well-being
The Seeterrassencamping is beautifully situated with a view of the lake. For me personally, it's important that the site is manageable and not too big. We extended our stay for another day because we liked it so much.
The welcome was very warm and friendly.
We will be back 😀

I have no idea.
Can you fall in love with a place?
Can man!!! We immediately felt at home. The owners are very friendly, all the pitches are beautifully laid out, everything is clean. The terrace invites you to linger. You can buy drinks inside and enjoy them outside with a view of the water. Almost every pitch has a view of the lake. Hiking and cycling tours start directly from the campsite. A dream, we will definitely be back!

Beautiful campsite with lake view
5-day vacation with girlfriend. Beautiful pitch with lake view on almost all pitches. 20 meters from the lake with beach (free with camping card). There is also a water sports rental. Sunny from morning to evening and an extremely beautiful sunset spot at the campsite. Breakfast/lunch and snacks can... be bought directly at the reception café.
The Schafbergbahn cable car is a 5-minute walk away and St. Wolfgang is just 10 minutes away along the beach promenade.

Conclusion: A dream and we will definitely be back.

Two showers each for ladies and gentlemen Three toilets with forty seats simply too few and far too small no lighting at night 1 hot water point for three sinks many prohibition signs until 10 pm only showering allowed electricity consumption 1 kw 90 cents consumption without proof we would still come back no 4 stars

We found it highly regulated the son should take over the place as long as the parents have the hand over it is probably little changed as we arrived we did not get 4 shower tokens more so you always have to pick up. Billing only against cash payment where is that still
There are also no comfort pitches with water connection

We would not go there again

Too bad, far from 4 stars
The view is great, the sanitary facilities very clean.
But:
The sanitary facilities with 2 showers and 3 toilets each for men and women are clearly not enough.
You have to buy shower tokens separately - that's from the day before yesterday.
On arrival we were allocated 4 tokens for 2 people and 4 nights,... we could get more later if necessary. They would always get lost. ( Am I in kindergarten?)
There are prohibitions, rules etc. on all the doors, walls and other surfaces. I've never seen anything like it in 40 years of camping.
Unsuitable for dogs: a beautiful large meadow on the site may not be used for playing, the roads around the site are all narrow and sporty, not pleasant. There is also no waste bag dispenser on the site, but they charge €5 per night for the dog - for what?
Unfortunately, the site is not quiet either, at least on the lower pitches. At 6:30 in the morning, the first bus seems to drive through the caravan, followed by many other vehicles.
And at the end you have to pay in cash, cards are not accepted.
Unfortunately, we are stuck in the past here.
It's a shame the site had so much potential.
We won't be back.
Many 3-star sites offer much more than this 4-star site.

Highly recommended
We were guests at Seeterrassencamping Ried for 5 nights last year. We received a very friendly welcome on arrival. After a very quick registration, we were shown the pitch that had been allocated to us. A higher terrace with a wonderful view of the lake and plenty of shade for our dog. Own dog bathing... beach, beautiful sunbathing lawn for the humans, bread roll service. Everything was available. Sanitary facilities are very, very clean. To the Schafbergbahn 10 min walk and to the village about 15 min. Everything very close and super accessible.
We hope that we can come back in 2022.

Very nice location
Camping Ried is a small but nice place to remember. It is essential to book in good time.
Getting there is a bit of a hassle. But you're not far from the village and the Schafbergbahn cable car.
You always have a beautiful view of the lake from the terraces.
The sanitary facilities are well maintained.... Why there is only one hot water tap in the dishwashing area is not entirely clear. There is also room for improvement in terms of WLAN availability. Unfortunately, there is also no cashless payment option.
But in general, we can highly recommend the campsite.

Terraced directly on the lake. However, the pitches vary greatly in size and view. There are wonderfully large pitches with fantastic views. But if you get a pitch behind the large boathouse, you're looking into the bag, not at the lake. The information from the campsite operator that you can choose... your own pitch from 2 nights is simply not true. We were allocated a small pitch behind the boathouse with our campervan. However, all pitches cost the same. This leaves a pale taste.

Thank you very much for your positive assessment of the peace, location and places.
However, we have to take issue with your sentence:
"The information from the campsite operator that you can choose your pitch freely from 2 nights is simply not true". You have misunderstood something....
There is the following offer on our website and here on Camping.Info:

Our discount in the early and late season:
From 1.4. to 30. 5. and 10.9. to end of season.
From a stay of 2 nights 10% discount on pitch and person fee
+ free choice of pitch (subject to availability)

If no other pitch was available during your stay, you will of course not be able to choose another one. That's why it says - subject to availability.
In addition, the offer is only valid in April/May and from September 10th. As it says on the website.

The offer is not valid for the July travel date you specified.
So our information is not wrong - you have misunderstood it.
However, you could have asked at reception on site - instead of complaining in a review. Perhaps a change of pitch would have been possible.

The pitches you mentioned are also located behind the water sports center and not behind a boathouse. They are the same size as the other pitches and are very popular with many guests as they are very shady due to the tall trees.

Small, clearly laid out site with a great location on the lake

Surprisingly much car traffic on the Uferstraße although it is a dead end
Great place right on the lake!
We spent two weeks here. Had a place in the front row from day 2 after moving house. Great view, but also right on the waterfront. Despite being a dead end, there are lots of spa and hotel guests here. Construction is currently underway on the neighboring property, so some noise from trucks during the... day. It is bearable! To the place itself, as often described so far everything in order, on the place everything quiet and clean. Due to the current situation, not all the staff were available. Boss cleaned 2 times a day herself! Exemplary! Catering was still closed until our departure, drinks and other snacks can be bought on site. There are only 2 showers, but although the site was full in the 2nd week, there were never any queues. So it works like a charm!
The same goes for the 3 toilets.
Direct access (free of charge) to the bathing area at the lake, right next to it a separate access for the 4-legged friends!
W-Lan for 1 device is free, but please don't expect miracles! OK for informative surfing, nothing more. Network coverage on site with D1 and D2 very good.
We will certainly come here again.
More about the surroundings: MTB riders: there are some great trails, but only very few are permitted for cyclists, even wide forest paths are not allowed. Completely over-regulated! Dogs must be kept on a lead almost everywhere and sometimes muzzled.

Wellness for body, mind and soul
This small, family-run campsite offers well-being all along the line. The smooth and uncomplicated handling from reservation to departure, the friendliness of the staff, the free yoga courses on offer, the spacious pitches, the beautiful view of the lake and the mountains offer relaxation for body, mind... and soul. The center of St. Wolfgang can be reached on foot in just a few minutes. You can also go on wonderful hikes from the campsite. The Schafberg train station and the boat landing stage are in the immediate vicinity. The private access to the lake and a lido next to it with plenty of space for sunbathing can be used free of charge. The site in general and the sanitary facilities are very clean. We also found the bread roll service for breakfast particularly pleasant.
We would love to come back.

Simply great
We were here for the first time this September. When we made our reservation we were told that there was a lovely pitch available for us and so it was. We stayed at the top of the campsite for 4 nights. The view was magnificent and the peace and quiet incredible. The staff and also the managers were... very friendly and welcoming and were always able to help. The sanitary facilities were exceptionally clean and well maintained. The boss herself is always concerned about cleanliness. Bread roll service in the morning was great. The beach is beautiful and there is also a dog beach. The proximity to the Schafbergbahn and the village is just perfect.
