The restrooms were very clean. However, I’ve never had to put on felt slippers over my shoes to use them. The bread delivery service is great, since the nearest place to shop is in Caputh. Campsites are available in a quiet area. Friendly owners who are happy to answer questions. Many towns and attractions are easily accessible by bike from the campground.

Access to the lake across the street leaves something to be desired. The road right next to the campground can be a bit noisy at times, disrupting the idyllic natural setting, as well as the apparent flight path to BER. It’s also not pleasant to be woken up by free-range chickens, even though we were on the quieter side. I don’t think requiring full payment—and in cash, no less—at check-in is very modern, but that’s certainly a matter of opinion. Placing the chemical toilet in front of the barbecue area might not be the best idea either.
A place in nature, but ...
I've stayed at nicer campsites, but also at worse ones. Basically, there are some nice spots, but there are also some shortcomings.

A very charmingly designed campground in the woods, with plenty of shade. Very clean restroom facilities. Separate 18+ area (no pets allowed) for those seeking peace and quiet, area for families Very friendly owners.

Access to the lake is just a narrow path that can be more or less muddy depending on the weather. But that’s just the way it is in a nature reserve, since structural changes are not allowed. A road runs right past the campsite, which can be a bit noisy. But late in the evening and at night there’s very little traffic, so that’s not really a problem.
A Place to Relax
We were here as a couple for the fifth time—and certainly not the last.
The owners are very friendly, and the campground in the woods, with plenty of shade, is lovingly designed.
The restroom facilities are cleaner than I’ve rarely seen, and they make sure they stay that way.
The campground has an... area for families and pets, as well as an 18+ area without children or pets for those seeking peace and quiet.
New arrivals are greeted by the local chickens.
The campground is in the woods, which naturally means leaves and a bit of dirt, and it also blocks satellite reception. But that’s exactly what gives you that feeling of being close to nature.
There are quite a few rules and guidelines, but they’re basically just common-sense things that every camper should follow anyway. Looking at some of the signs, you wonder what must have happened to make a sign necessary.
In any case, I always make an effort to leave the restrooms as clean as I found them… anyone expecting someone else to clean up after them is in the wrong place here. So, dear campers, think a little about your fellow campers and be considerate—that way, everyone will feel comfortable.

The location on the road is very unpleasant. It is a motorcycle racetrack and it constantly stinks of exhaust fumes. There is no proper briefing and no site plan, except at the reception. The place has made an unkempt impression.made.pitch numbers are partially overgrown.

We had a wonderful stay at the Schwielosee campsite and can recommend it without reservation! The campsite is in a wonderfully quiet location in a pine forest directly on Lake Schwielosee - perfect for anyone looking for relaxation and nature. We arrived spontaneously for one night in winter and actually had the whole site to ourselves. The special peace and quiet and the wintry atmosphere by the lake were simply unforgettable. The sanitary facilities deserve special mention: they are exceptionally well maintained, modern and very clean. You immediately notice that great importance is attached to hygiene and tidiness here. The entire facility is also very tidy and lovingly designed. The atmosphere is relaxed, the staff friendly and helpful - you immediately feel welcome. If you are looking for peace, nature and a well-kept campsite, this is the place for you. An absolute insider tip, especially outside the main season. We will definitely be back!

Spontaneous camping for one night in winter :)
We had a wonderful stay at the Schwielosee campsite and can recommend it without reservation!

The campsite is in a wonderfully quiet location in a pine forest directly on Lake Schwielosee - perfect for anyone looking for relaxation and nature. The atmosphere is pleasantly relaxed and far away from street... noise or the hustle and bustle. The sanitary facilities are particularly noteworthy: they are exceptionally well maintained, modern and always very clean. You immediately notice that a great deal of importance is attached to hygiene and tidiness here.

The entire site is also lovingly designed and very tidy. The pitches are spacious, well-maintained and offer plenty of shade and privacy thanks to the trees. The staff are friendly, helpful and make you feel welcome right from the start.

Whether for swimming, walking, cycling or simply relaxing - this campsite is a real feel-good place. We will definitely be back and thank you for the wonderful time at Schwielosee!

The operators are so unpleasant, I have to say "strange" (to put it mildly).
Undoubtedly from Swabia, you would have been better off staying there for the sweeping days.
After we received an email on the 5th day with the information.
"For the sake of good order"... we fled. Even though another 8 days were paid for. No matter, I won't stay there a day longer with my family and two children. If you want, you can ask the operators to check the correct use of the toilets, washbasins and shower rooms, but I'm sure that's not necessary for me and my family.
Thorsten H. described the access to the lake quite correctly (a dirty footbridge over the road).

Blanket bullying, access to the lake is simply a lie. The site is teeming with instructions and is supposedly under video surveillance 24/7. Ridiculous to the core and it shakes my faith in the trustworthiness of Camping.info. I doubt the authenticity of the reviews. I would like to upload photos of the signs, that would make it clearer.
Incomprehensible valuations.
Not recommended.
A million signs and notices, communal showers, water switches off after five seconds when shaving, the light goes out (motion detector), absurd.

Actually everything so far. I am thrilled.

Simply great
Everything is clean and tidy, hard to beat. We have been to this campsite twice so far and have never been disappointed. Our 3rd and so far longest stay will follow shortly. Our requests regarding electricity etc. were always met. As we made friends with a very specific pitch, we were even granted this... wish.
I would like to emphasize the unique peace and quiet. To make you smile: we found the free-range chickens, which provide entertainment, particularly amusing.
The sanitary facilities don't need to shy away from comparison with a hotel. On the contrary, everything is modern, tasteful and, above all, clean.
There are plenty of excursion destinations for every taste.
As I said, we are looking forward to our next stay.

Really great campsite
Very nice and tasteful campsite. Full of ideas with lots of little helpers. We felt very comfortable and got to know very nice people. A very pleasant atmosphere on the site. The campsite was full, with many repeat guests who gave us good tips and suggestions for the many leisure activities, which speaks for itself and the campsite. We will definitely be back.

The negative comments. Experience shows that they come from the very people who make sure that such rules are needed. We don't want these people as neighbors. And that's why we're coming back.
Very nice and well-kept campsite with 5 star facilities.
I can fully understand the campsite operators pointing out the self-evident rules that some people are unaware of or think these rules are only there for others. My children (8 and 11) thought that was very good. The fact that so many people feel the same way confirms the success of the operators. As always, the campsite was fully booked. We'll be back and are glad that some people don't want to come again.

Beautiful forest campsite
It was our first time at this campsite thanks to a recommendation. We will definitely be back. Very imaginative site design. Everything the camper needs is very well and thoughtfully arranged. The sanitary facilities are a stunner, just like in a 5-star hotel, very beautifully and tastefully furnished and designed, simply to make you feel good. We are happy to recommend this site with a very clear conscience.

Everything is as described on the homepage. There is nothing to add. We (4 people) always like to come back to the friendly hosts. They design everything very tastefully with great attention to detail. I am an interior designer by profession and can say that it is a pleasure to get to know the craft from different perspectives. I have implemented various ideas, to the delight of the clients.

Top campsite
The operators are very friendly and helpful. The sanitary facilities are very nicely designed and were always in a very clean condition. The lake access is in a nature reserve and for this reason has a nature access, but this should not bother guests who choose a nature campsite?
We think the adult area... is very good. Our children are out of the house and then we want to enjoy the peace and quiet and find the behavior of some parents "we want to explore the campsite with the children" absolutely disrespectful.
The campsite is big enough that the children have no business in the "adult area". We think it's very good that the groundsman makes a clear announcement here.
It is very noticeable that it is always the people who leave negative reviews who are actually responsible for them.
We can recommend this site with a clear conscience.

We were warmly welcomed and properly briefed. Even the attention of being allocated a 50+ pitch was really great. The sinks and sanitary facilities were just a few meters away. We've never had such a beautiful pitch before, great decorations, lots of love and ingenuity leave you amazed. It sparkled everywhere. The sanitary facilities were spotlessly clean and the washing-up area looked exceptionally good. The pitch was generously sized and there was a bread roll service. We were even greeted by a few chickens.

There are the eternal whingers and complainers. There are ants, mosquitoes, the weather isn't right, the bathing water has algae or something else.
Absolute top spot
An exceptional campsite with many amenities. A top recommendation just outside Potsdam.

The most beautiful campsite
We were a family with 2 children. The children and we were very enthusiastic about this beautiful, very well-kept and clean site. We have been going to campsites 1-2 times a year since we were children. We have never seen such a beautiful and lovely place. The operators are always friendly and make sure... that the rules are observed, which we found very good. Even our children liked it :-) They said: "That's why everything is always clean". The guests we had contact with all extended their stay, which speaks for itself. We are happy to recommend this place.

Checkpoints, stop and prohibition signs everywhere. You are under video surveillance and your personal rights are restricted. The scullery is only open until 7.30 pm.
Campsite is not recommended
It is a quiet and nicely designed campsite, but unfortunately not recommended, the operators are very friendly on arrival, but after payment it starts right away, you are not allowed to do that and you are not allowed to go there because of the dog, there are stop signs with forbidden everywhere. I am... also in favor of waste separation, but not that the groundsman controls the garbage. The advertised lake access is a muddy, smelly imposition.
You don't get any help for pedal boats from the groundsman, just stupid comments (he called mentally impaired people too stupid and refused to help) but he collected a lot of money. There are chickens and roosters running around everywhere, which I don't find bad, but they have also left a mess, but if a dog has to pee on the edge, you are almost expelled from the site. The place is totally overpriced, price performance is not right.

A place to relax
This is our fourth time here and we are very satisfied and can say for ourselves: "it couldn't be better". A very well-designed site with very nice sanitary facilities. Simply to feel good. As an independent hotel and innkeeper couple, we are familiar with such negative reviews and can only confirm them... in this way, that the misconduct of these people was reprimanded by the owner. What we find very good. The owner has backbone and decency and we are of the opinion that he is not dependent on such guests and does not want them either. My wife and I think that's very good. And that's why the place is the way it is: clean, tidy, lovingly designed and with respectful and decent treatment of the guests, the owner couple is always very friendly. Conclusion: It's always the same: People who can't and don't want to follow the rules should stick to their own noses rather than stupidly and anonymously badmouthing others on the Internet. As a rule, these people have nothing to be proud of.
