‘Camping on the bottom of the former Zuyder Zee’ Opposite the town of Harderwijk and just behind the fringe of reeds of Lake Veluwe, that used to be part of … the former Zuyder Zee, you will find Flevostrand Recreation Park; the nice and cosy family camping site where you can sample the pleasant and relaxed atmosphere of a sun-and-water holiday. Molecaten Park Flevostrand has a camping site on the landside of the dike, a camping site on the beach, a catamaran beach and modern marina with berths and moorings for smaller yachts and cruisers as well as for yachts up to a length of 20 metres. The surrounding area is ideal for walking and cycling. Cycle paths lead you along the shores of Veluwemeer (Lake Veluwe) to the former fishing ports of Harderwijk and Elburg - with their lively pavement cafés and many shops - or through the open polder landscape with its wide horizon and glorious sunsets. Pets are allowed on some of the fields (not in the Flevohome rented-caravans)
