Sanitary... facilities clean. Swimming in the sea possible via small steps into the water. Very clean water. Stone beach. The pitches with terrace and sea view are mega nice, but you have to stay there for at least 4 nights. Not a nice beach for swimmingBeautiful view of the seaWe had booked a pitch in the 1st row and therefore had a great view of the sea from our terrace. Unfortunately, the view from the caravan is obscured by a very high hedge between the terrace and the pitch, which could easily be shortened to one meter. The pitches are relatively small, but no problem... for us with a mini caravan, as the car also fitted on the pitch. For us, this was a good base for a few days to make excursions by car and bike into the surrounding countryside and hinterland, spectacular coastal road south of Livorno, but very busy. Although the site was fully booked, it was rather quiet in the evening. The restaurant on site is said to be good, but we didn't go there. With my own terrace right by the sea, I was able to enjoy the breathtaking sunsets.NegativaIn the low season, the offers on the site are unfortunately limited. The mini market was not well stocked, which made catering a little difficult. It would be better to use larger supermarkets nearby. A major drawback was the cold shower. This was particularly unpleasant, especially after a long rainy day.Quiet time out by the seaDespite the disadvantages mentioned, I would come back at any time. You shouldn't expect too much in the low season, but the peace and quiet and the beautiful location still make the stay very pleasant. That's why we checked out the next day and drove 20 km south to a campsite by the sea and didn't regret it.

Besonders gefallen hat uns die Freundlichkeit des Personals, das immer hilfsbereit war. Auch die Animation für Kinder war hervorragend - unsere Kinder hatten eine Menge Spaß und wollten gar nicht mehr weg! Der Poolbereich ist sehr schön gestaltet, und die Stellplätze sind großzügig und gut beschattet.NegativaEs gab nichts, das uns nicht gefallen hat! Alles war perfekt organisiert und sehr angenehm.Ein wunderschöner Aufenthalt!Wir haben eine wunderschöne Woche im Miramare Camping Village verbracht und können diesen Ort nur wärmstens empfehlen! Die Kombination aus Meer, Natur und gutem Service war einfach unschlagbar. The restaurant... belonging to the campsite is also highly recommended. It should perhaps be mentioned that the store was only minimally stocked at the time of our stay. We understand this, however, as otherwise too much fresh produce would spoil in the low season and have to be thrown away. The site is easy to find with the satnav. The reception is very friendly and helpful and this also applies to the entire stay. The pitches are very small and not really suitable for large WOMOs and WWs. The pitches with a sea view are unique... and the size of the pitch doesn't matter as the terrace is very large. From this terrace you have a view of the harbor entrance of Livorno and the sunsets are fantastic. You can park your car by the WW, but it's very cramped and not practical. There is a parking lot, but it costs 10 euros per day. The parking lot is closed off but not necessarily safe. There is a steep staircase to the sea and sun loungers can be hired at the bottom. There is a ladder into the water for swimming and the sea is very clean. There is a pool next to it but it is relatively small. The restaurant is good, but the offer is always the same. The store sells fresh baked goods in the morning and a small selection of groceries. The sanitary facilities have been improved but are not very practical and are clean during the week. At the weekend there are lots of Italians with children and lots of dogs and that's when the peace and quiet comes to an end. The site is well suited for visiting the surrounding area and the cities of Lucca, Florence and Pisa. Pitches very small, without the terrace it would not have worked at all, we had to park our car for 10 EUR / day on the parking lot outside because with an additional tent for our children no place on the pitch....
Unsuitable for dogs, there is almost no run directly from the site, but with a little effort (500m on foot along the busy main road) you can go into the forest behind the railroad line, where there are great opportunities for hiking (you have to do your own research here, information from the campsite is rather poor).
Pitches in the back rows directly on the road, very noisy.
Well suited for excursions into the hinterland, to Pisa, Florence etc.
Swimming pool rather small and overcrowded.
Sanitary facilities OK.
Restaurant on site also OK, but you can't spontaneously order a pizza to take away, you have to book a time slot for the evening in the afternoon and can then pick up the pizza. But the food in the restaurant is very good.

However, we regret that the accommodation did not meet... your expectations. Unfortunately, we are currently in one of the busiest periods of the season, and, despite our best efforts, we had to show you the only options available at that time. We tried our best to accommodate your needs, considering your unexpected arrival and your insistence on finding a place. Therefore, it is challenging for us to understand the rating you assigned.
Regarding the facilities, the campground includes everything necessary for a comfortable stay, including hot showers, electrical hookups, and camper services, as well as various amenities such as a bar, restaurant, pool, minimarket, and more. Sandwiches are available both at the bar and the minimarket, where you can also find fresh bread daily. While reservations are not required for the panoramic terraces, they are recommended as seating is often limited. Our on-site minimarket is not intended to replace a full supermarket but is designed to provide guests with the convenience of purchasing essential items on-site. Please note that eating or drinking near the pool is not allowed due to the regulations of the Tuscany Health Authority.
