Beautifully located and clean
We were visiting with our VW bus and dog for one night. We had not booked beforehand, nor are we members of anything (see previous comment). The staff were very nice and helpful.

The site is beautifully planted with trees and bushes and has direct access to the water.

Beautiful place by the lake
The site only accepts members of the Camping & Caravanning Club (May 2014). It is beautifully situated directly on Loch Lomond and has several private access points to small stretches of beach on the loch. Pitches either on gravel (hardstanding) or grass. Lots of trees. Sanitary facilities very clean,... unfortunately there are no single cubicles for the men. Warm, powerful showers. Very friendly operators. You can hear the traffic on the nearby A82, but it is not disruptive. You can buy small items at reception, ALDI is 16 km away in Alexandria (approx. 15,000 inhabitants). Stable WiFi connection.
