Small campsites, no electricity (2 kWh; as stated on the website)
The photos are great; reality is a matter of taste
The campground is located about 15 km from the highway, and we originally planned to stay here for 4 nights, despite the flat-rate electricity fee of 6.00 EUR per day.
Unfortunately, on the first night (according to the campground staff), their fuse apparently blew—presumably because of our trailer (CEE... plug)—and there was no water or sewer service at the site.
The staff was helpful and unscrewed the cover of our fuse box to check the voltage (which seemed fine), but the fuse at the campground kept blowing at 2 kWh.
Thankfully, we were able to run the refrigerator, heater, lights, etc., using our solar panel and gas, and then, with a heavy heart, decided to cut our planned trip (3 months) short and drive home via the A10. We left the campground after 2 nights—we had paid for 4—and at our next stop in Périgueux, the shore power connection worked perfectly (and still does to this day). We informed the campground, but never received a response. We did have a great vacation in France, though, but we won’t be returning to this campground in the future.
Oh, and in our opinion, the restroom facilities are just so-so.
