The site is beautifully and very quietly situated on a small island in the river Pyhäjoki. There are many beautiful pitches surrounded by greenery. Well suited for short stays or for people looking for peace and greenery.
Negativa
No question: there are mosquitoes on the river, of course! (Bring a spray or similar!). Quiet place without pub or entertainment.
Beautifully situated, well-kept pitch.
The site was very good for me with a tent, as there were nice tent pitches and I was right next to the kitchen cottage, so I could quickly get hot water or go to the toilet.

Feel-good oasis on a river island
The campsite is located on a small island and can only be reached via a narrow bridge. We received a very friendly welcome in English and were able to choose a pitch. The pitches are level and have firm grass. As the island is only small (approx. 275 x 100 m), almost all pitches have a view of the water.... Unfortunately, WiFi was not available. At the wash house: ladies on the left, men on the right. There are no signs, but we were informed of this on arrival. Rustic sauna with bathing area in the river.
