The Silence

A small, quiet campground with really friendly staff.

The restrooms are really showing their age and might need to be replaced

We stopped at this campground for a short break. The owner was very friendly. The food at the restaurant was great. They delivered fresh rolls in the morning.

A very friendly, dedicated tenant

The campsite was great and nice and spacious. The path to the restrooms and laundry facilities is centrally located. There was also a bread roll delivery service. The campground also has a nice pool that’s warmed by the sun. It’s very refreshing. The Eider River is also very close by. You can go on great bike rides in the area. The campground also has a restaurant with delicious meals that aren’t too expensive. In the afternoon, an Italian ice cream truck even stopped by. The campground attendant was very nice and accommodating. We’d love to come back.

A small kiosk selling drinks, ice cream for the kids, etc., would be nice.

The Silence

The grass was nice and lush, so we had a soft surface inside the tent.

- No more canoe rentals - A 6-minute shower costs 50 cents (no change machine) - The restaurant is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays during peak season; otherwise, it opens at 5:00 p.m. - No kiosk - Everything looks like it’s from the ’70s - Wi-Fi is available everywhere except at the “camping sites” behind the restrooms

The man welcomed us very warmly, and the restrooms were clean.

Swimming Pool

We stayed there for three nights, had a nice spot, great weather, of course, and were able to make full use of the pool.

The restroom building is really showing its age

The restroom facilities for people with disabilities should not be used by long-term campers who do not have any health limitations.

Great pool for hot days; the food at the restaurant was excellent and really delicious. They have the world's best fries there :-)

The bathroom fixtures are a bit older but always clean

We were greeted very warmly and shown to our site. Since we were traveling with two RVs, we were even given a different site than the one we’d booked so that we could park next to each other. The campground is very quiet. The restrooms are a bit older but very clean. The restaurant has a good selection and offers good value for the price. There’s a small outdoor pool.

I really appreciated the friendly and hassle-free service. The upgrade to a private bathroom right across from the campsite was great.

A very pleasant campground located in a beautiful natural setting, along a river and among the meadows on the outskirts of a small village.
