Proximity to the sea (unfortunately the only plus point)

Pitch unsuitable: strong wind (at least 60 km/h), no use of the awning or outdoor furniture possible - Constant dust and dirt from passing cars that got into the motorhome due to the wind - Outdoor dining impossible - Restaurant can only be used with a reservation; food ordered tasted and looked unacceptable - Sanitary facilities far away and in an unhygienic, dirty condition - Booked WLAN not available - Despite detailed complaint, service only responded with a €15 refund for the WiFi and a useless voucher for future stays - No fair compensation despite early departure on 28.07. (booked until 01.08.)
Disappointing stay - never again Domaine La Franqui
A completely disappointing stay - both the facility and the customer service leave a lot to be desired. Definitely never again for us!

On the website, the operator assigns itself 5 stars. I would award a maximum of 3.
The road to the campsite is not so well developed, the road has a lot of deep potholes.
The grounds look very unkempt, with few hedges to keep out the wind, which can be very strong in this area. There is one toilet block,... so there are few toilets and showers. At the time of our stay, 2 showers were closed and one could not be locked. Waiting times were therefore inevitable. The small grocery store is characterized by super nice operators. The selection is small, but the croissants and baguettes are great. The coffee is probably also prepared with love, a highlight.
The campsite is popular with water sports enthusiasts and has direct access to the beach.
You can visit the restaurant for a drink, the food was not so good.
Shopping and good restaurants in Leucate, 25 minutes by bike depending on the wind direction. Cycle paths are well developed. La Franqui itself has a manageable range of food.
The swimming pool is rather small and sometimes very full.
We wouldn't want to go there again.

Beautiful, modern campsite
We stayed on the site for 10 days with the caravan and were delighted with the modern facilities.
The surrounding area has little to offer, but you have everything you need on the site.

Sand as far as the eye can see ...
As a stopover on the way to Spain, we spent one night on the campsite with our tent. Reception recommended a pitch behind a hedge because of the strong wind. Flat sandy terrain, divided by some robust hedges - also because of the wind. If you stay in a tent for a long time, you'll probably have sand... everywhere ... Very wide sandy beach, great spot for kite surfing; surf station at the front of the water; the wide bay is rather boring for swimming. In the neighboring village (within walking distance) there is a street with restaurants/pizzerias/bars ... one next to the other ... also a supermarket.

čisto,přátelská atmosféra,dobrá cena,krásná dovolená

na pláž je to asi 500 metrů
fantastickaá dovolená
moc se nám tady líbilo cenově výhodné jeli jsme s vlastním karavanem pěkná místa na parkování v srpnu trošku větrno ale super počasí krásné koupání v moři nedaleko do města výborné restaurace v okolí určitě se sem vrátíme za dva roky
