The beach in this bay is unique. Camping right on the beach. Clean sanitary facilities. Don't always have to be new, but kept clean. Taverna on the beach also ok. Plenty of shady pitches for tents. Sometimes a problem for motorhomes because of the low branches. But we still found a nice spot right at the front with the 8m long pitches
Negativa
Not much opportunity for motorhomes to be right at the front of the beach. Nothing else to complain about.
Super bay
Don't need to say much about it. If I were to go to Crete again, it would be a fixed date for a few nice days on the beach. I don't dare to say anything else worth recommending. For me an address where you can return.

Publicly used facilities too small. Hot water for shower is not always available, fridges are so small and overloaded that nothing really remains cool. Politeness of administrative personell is non-existent. Tents are on top of each other and people can become really noisy, so a calm relaxing holiday can be out of the question.
Disappointing
The owner is very rude. There is not that much space for as many tents as accomodated, so everybody is on top of the other.

Family-run, very friendly and helpful, dog-friendly, extensive dream beaches (sand) with small bays, quiet location, several small tavernas and a well-stocked supermarket within walking distance, mixed guests.
Negativa
Sometimes extremely windy - especially at night, bus connection minimal and Paleochora is already a distance of 4 km, the hinterland is less attractive due to the many greenhouses.
Pure relaxation with a dog
A great place to relax and unwind. We were traveling with a camper van and two dogs - completely uncomplicated. In the morning we were able to romp and swim with the dogs on the empty beach. Even during the day, it was always possible to lead our (largely obedient) dogs off the water. In the event of a technical breakdown, we were helped quickly and with commitment. We felt very comfortable here and will definitely be back!

Laid out like a park. Pitches mostly shaded. Direct access to the very spacious beach. Very friendly staff.
