There’s a place to shop right on the campground, and otherwise, the nearest town, Heiligenhafen, is about 5 km away. We especially like that the campground has direct access to the beach.Automaticky přeloženo.Žádní kempaři neoznačili toto hodnocení jako užitečné. Buďte první!

Since we have a dog that we’d like to bring along on our next trips, I’ll be staying somewhere else, though, because the dog beach is 7 km away.

we had a wonderful two weeks.
It was very clean when we arrived. Nothing was missing. Everyone was very friendly, and the neighbors—the long-term campers—were also very nice. The restaurant was great, too.

- 4.0MTMatzke T.srpen 20264.0MTMatzke T.srpen 2026General InformationThe stay is very good, and the grounds are very well maintained. Unfortunately, the 10 km/h speed limit isn’t always observed. You have to be very careful with your children to make sure they don’t get hit by a car. Speed bumps would be very helpful in front of the kids’ activity area, as well as on the main access roads to the vacation meadows.Automaticky přeloženo.Žádní kempaři neoznačili toto hodnocení jako užitečné. - 4.0EGEva G.srpen 20264.0EGEva G.srpen 2026PozitivaLocation, cleanliness, entertainment program—including activities for teensNegativaTrash Collection and Shower HoursA beautiful spot right on the Baltic SeaDuring summer vacation, we stayed for three weeks at a large campsite with our own water and electricity hookups. The restroom facilities were modern and clean, and it wasn’t far to the beach. Our boys (11, 15) really enjoyed the entertainment program and made some great friends.
Downside: The trash... pickup times are terrible. We go on a lot of outings, and if we missed the morning pickup, we had to wait until the next day. We also didn’t think it was ideal that the site stayed open until 10:30 p.m.
The campsite was riddled with holes from voles, which had even had a litter of young.

- 4.0I&Iris & Ralf D.srpen 20264.0I&Iris & Ralf D.srpen 2026PozitivaLarge lot with water and electricity, well-locatedNegativaI'm missing the wastewaterIt was a new experience to camp in different placesIt was really nice, but unfortunately there were a lot of small children during peak season, so it was a bit noisy—that’s just how it is. Since we wanted a “Comfort” site, we unfortunately didn’t have wastewater connections, and there was only one laundry room with six dishwashing stations, but it was too crowded in the evenings and there were long lines 🐍 Overall, I didn’t think it was that great.Automaticky přeloženo.Žádní kempaři neoznačili toto hodnocení jako užitečné. Jens S.červenec 20264.0Jens S.červenec 2026PozitivaShort walk to the Baltic Sea Clean and very well-maintained restrooms Good restaurant (Spinnacker) on-site Food truck on-site Very friendly staffNegativaSupermarket is too EXPENSIVE Dog beach is too far away No dog showerA beautiful spot right on the Baltic SeaWe thought the campground, with its direct location on the Baltic Sea, was great. We found hardly any drawbacks—if any at all—other than the fact that you need a card to enter the restroom building and use the showers, and that a credit for showers is loaded onto the card upon arrival.
But we quickly... got used to carrying the card with us—that way, at least, you don’t need loose change for the showers, which isn’t a bad thing.
The Spinnacker restaurant on the campground is highly recommended—the food is delicious and the staff is friendly, though it’s not very affordable. The small supermarket on the campground, however, is not affordable at all—the prices are far above normal. But the campground itself is really well-maintained and the staff is friendly. We’ll definitely go back there.Automaticky přeloženo.Žádní kempaři neoznačili toto hodnocení jako užitečné. The sanitary facilities are state of the art.
Small points of criticism or wishes for improvement:
- the waste disposal times are very limited
- The store on site is too expensive in our opinion
