I haven't seen the sanitary facilities.....Nice quiet place, quickly at the waterIt is a beautiful place, close to the coast, about 15 minutes walk to the water. The place is quiet, you need a car for shopping, there is no supermarket in the immediate vicinity.
But you can get food and ice cream by the water.
Well suited for dogs.
The operators are very nice.
I didn't see the sanitary facilities.
I don't like shower tokens that much.

The operators are warm and friendly. The pitch meadow is unparceled, but you are instructed on your pitch - that's fine. In the morning there is a bread roll service in the small kiosk. The sanitary facilities are clean. The location of the site is great - directly... behind the dyke, within walking distance of the Watt'n Bad, included in the tourist tax. A great place! The reception was great, the team top! The tourist meadow (parceled out) offers plenty of space and electricity and water are all very close to the pitch. Our children had a lot of fun on the great playground and the wash house was great! Clean, well equipped,... perfect! Quiet location, yet close to the cutter harbor. Bread roll service top! July 2018: This time we were there for the caddy friends meeting and subsequent vacation. There were disagreements about who was where at the meeting, why? Also that there was a "long term stander" between us - why? The operators are meganett and make almost everything possible. Even guests who arrived spontaneously were somehow accommodated and provided with electricity at the motorhome or caravan. The site is only a few meters - just over the dike - from the harbour in Dorum Neufeld. There is certainly room for improvement and not everything is up to date, but in a top location behind the dyke it is always recommendable. Gunnar B.březen 2016Pozitiva- very nice operators - great not divided Sellplätze - Super children's playground - 1A location - clean sanitary facilities - 500m to the seaNegativa- No toilet paper in the toilet - showering costs extra - only one sanitary building with almost 300 pitches - 90% permanent campersVery nice operators and a great placeThe site is about 500m from the North Sea and has a great children's playground. The friendly operator couple accompanied us to the site on arrival and showed us around. The pitches are on a large meadow and are not divided up, which makes the campsite very open. However, this can mean that you need... a long power cable in some places. The pitches have fresh water in the immediate vicinity. When we left, it was raining heavily and the operators pulled our caravan off the pitch with the tractor of their own accord. That made us very happy! The only unusual thing is that there are about 200 permanent campers and only 20-30 guest pitches. There is also only one wash house with just 5 showers for over 200 pitches. That could get really tight in the high season. There is also no toilet paper in the toilets. As I've never experienced this before, I asked why not. The answer: the children would only make nonsense with it. Okay, I couldn't understand why, as apparently every other campsite doesn't have this problem. The sanitary facilities are very clean. Unfortunately, you can't change the temperature in the showers, which is why I was boiled thoroughly. Showering is only possible with shower tokens for an extra charge. The pitch only cost €15/night for 2 people with a dog, which is definitely top class in terms of value for money! The nearest supermarket is about 7km away, which is unfortunate. For us (family with 2 children and dog) the ideal starting point to the beach and for the children to the wave pool. The operators are very friendly and even as "new campers" everything was explained and shown to us in detail. The sanitary facilities... are very clean and spacious. Our conclusion: It is often difficult for families with children and dogs, but everything is available at the Grube campsite and the proximity to the beautiful dog beach is just great.
