The pitches are well maintained.
We were able to choose a pitch.

Rolf K.červenec 2024PozitivaExtremely friendly operator. The very quiet site and the sanitary facilities are very well maintained. Price-performance ratio is absolutely fineNegativaNone!Very quiet and well-kept placeWe stayed at the campsite for a weekend. We enjoyed the peace and quiet on these days. You can get over the lack of a bread roll service, because the bakery - with very good goods - is only a few minutes' drive away.
The pitch allocated to us was very large and we had plenty of room to move around

We received a very friendly welcome and were able to choose our pitch. The sanitary facilities were very, very clean and adequate.
There is a large playground for children. The fur noses find enough run on the very well-kept place. Great hiking trails directly... from the site. Heidenheim is perfect for a stroll through the town with lots of stores. Gliding airfield next door does not disturb.
We would love to come back.Automaticky přeloženo.1 kempař označil toto hodnocení jako užitečné. - 5.0HSHarald S.srpen 2022PozitivaThe peace and quiet and the location in the middle of beautiful hiking opportunitiesNegativafound noneHighly recommended placeVery nice campsite with old trees, the place is a bit outdated, but you can see that it is lovingly maintained and kept in order. The sanitary facilities are remarkably well maintained and very clean. The site is very quiet, the airport next to it doesn't disturb at all, as there is hardly any air traffic... (glider airport with towing operations).
The operators are extremely friendly and always ready to help.

Everything was very unobtrusive. The sanitary facilities are not the most modern, but they are spotlessly clean and that is worth much more to us. For water/waste water you have to walk a little further than the... edge of your own pitch, but that's exactly why we felt reminded of camping in the good old days, when you didn't expect the luxury ambience of a 5-star hotel when you went camping. And it was still sooo nice. It certainly wasn't the last time we stayed at the Amalienhof campsite. Because this area around Bartholomä is very scenic and entices you to go on many tours.Automaticky přeloženo.1 kempař označil toto hodnocení jako užitečné.
- 4.0CSChristian S.červen 2021PozitivaBeautiful place with old trees Hospitality of the host couple Climate and nature of the surroundingsNegativaSomewhat outdated Limited shopping facilitiesPure relaxation and hospitalityThe course with the illustrious name Amalienhof is located in Bartholomä, the village that has placed itself "on the edge of heaven" in its marketing. This is quite understandable, as the climate is really pleasantly dry and always one or two "coats cooler" than in the scorching hot valley locations... due to the location on the karst plateau of the Ostalb.
The fact that the site is a little outdated has advantages and disadvantages. One advantage is definitely the park-like tree population, under which you can set up camp as a camper. The disadvantage is that the infrastructure is of course no longer the latest and quite basic. This didn't bother me as it is kept spotlessly clean.
This brings us to the next big plus point of this campsite - the couple who run it, Heike and Frank, who not only write hospitality in capital letters, but also really live it!
You feel welcome despite the corona restrictions, which were implemented easily and quietly on arrival in the campsite's own "test center" installed outside.
As an enthusiastic cyclist, I enjoyed the well-developed, varied forests of the Ostalb and the charming Wental with its rock formations and will definitely be back!Automaticky přeloženo.Žádní kempaři neoznačili toto hodnocení jako užitečné. - 3.0HWHans Werner S.březen 2014PozitivaHiking on the Swabian Alps.NegativaCould possibly be the noise from the sports airfield.Proper place on the Swabian AlpWe stayed at this site on 01.03.2014 for an overnight stay. We were the only vacationers. Some permanent campers were still there. The place made a quiet impression in winter, but I think in summer you will hear a lot from the neighboring sports airfield. The sanitary facilities were fine. We visited... a good restaurant outside the site in Wental. The site is quite far away from the highway. That's why we probably won't be back. But it's certainly okay.Automaticky přeloženo.1 kempař označil toto hodnocení jako užitečné.
