The lack of a refrigerator for campers is practically a deal-breaker. We really missed having a place to make coffee, because we love drinking it. In theory, it’s available until noon and then again from 3 to 6 p.m. When we were there, the thermos was often already empty by 11 a.m., and then we had to wait until 3 p.m. for the next chance to get coffee :-( They offered to make more coffee, but then we would’ve had to buy a liter = ??? Our tents were set up close to the lake, and sometimes we couldn’t sleep because of the noise at night. The other campers were farther away—they didn’t have that problem. Unfortunately, this small lake has had low water levels for the second year in a row. Swimming was, of course, out of the question. The campground has the charm of a GDR-era campsite. The old, warped stepping stones around the ping-pong tables were probably laid back then.

Overall, my impression was that the campground had the charm of a GDR-era campsite. The old, warped stepping plates around the ping-pong tables are probably a safety hazard. I hope they’ll reconsider this, since the cities of Moritzburg, Meissen, and Dresden are nearby :-)

Wonderful location on the forest pond, very nice helpful operator family, sanitary very clean and good, by bike you are in 25 minutes in the center, Moritzburg Castle 4 km, supermarket in Boxdorf, bread service

Our place for Dresden
The site has sunny and shady spots. On the sunny meadow, you have to be a little tricky in some places because of the sloping meadow to bring WW into line. But it was quick and easy.
The operators are very helpful.
For us, it's the place for Dresden.
Dogs are allowed, but there are clear rules.

Extremely friendly and great hospitality. Peaceful quiet location.

Only saw 2 frogs. We need more frogs.
Great stay
Stayed here overnight on our trip. Beautiful peaceful camping located among lushful trees. The staff was really friendly and welcoming. Highly recommending it.

Great spot for sightseeing in Dresden as it's only thirty minutes away from the city by car.

Nice and uncomplicated operators. Ideal for excursions in the surrounding area (Dresden, Moritzburg, Radebeul...). Simple but tidy facilities. Very well-kept sanitary facilities. Located on the upper forest pond. Wooded, unparceled grounds.

Very quiet, relaxing nature campsite

Super natural campsite
We stayed here for one night, the nice operators gave us good tips, the sanitary facilities are clean and the site is super nice and quiet under beautiful large trees. The campsite also has a small, idyllic peninsula on the adjacent lake.

Easter weekend
Very very nice operators, we received a very warm welcome. The place is the absolute hammer.... Pure nature! We were there with two motorhomes and were able to position ourselves as we wanted, top sanitary facilities, we couldn't have done better and will certainly come back again. It's easy to get to... Dresden by bike, the surrounding area is great for exploring by bike 🚲. We had a lot of fun.
