Exactly that: the site is simple, beautifully situated, quiet, clean and very reasonably priced.

Simple, beautiful, quiet
A large tree-lined meadow with plenty of shade, not parceled out, very simply furnished: A small sanitary building with two showers, two toilets, two washbasins and a sink. That was it. A little old-fashioned, but perfectly clean and functional. Chemical toilets can be emptied and drinking water can... be taken from outside. Double-axle caravans are not permitted. There is plenty of space, we have had a maximum of 6 camping neighbors during our six stays so far, mostly only 0-2. It is very nice to be among yourself, apart from the birdsong you can usually only hear the frogs from a distance, and apart from the morning cockcrow, only the bell from the nearby church tower completes the rural idyll. The site is not fenced in, and to pay you go to the mairie down by the cornfield when you leave. The comparative price is correct and has hardly increased over the years. The village bakery is right next to the Mairie, and that was the "center" of Saints. The site is nothing for camping de luxe with entertainment and ring games, but an oasis for relaxing and ideal for a visit to Guédelon. If you enjoy farming from a hundred years ago, the Moulin de Vanneau nearby is also worth a visit.
