    Murat
    Simple but beautiful campsite, situated on the outskirts of the town. Shops and restaurants in the town within walking distance. Tidy sanitary facilities (with paper!), large meadow with shady trees for tents and camper vans. Price per night: EUR 6.90 for one person with tent and bicycle.

    Huge camping area, average sanitary facilities, but peace and quiet. I recommend everyone to hike in the area. Great.

    Beautifully situated site and a good starting point for all activities in the Cantal. Easy access even for large caravans. Spacious pitches, as there are no parcels. A supermarket is located directly on the access road approx. 500 m from the site. The village of Murat is also worth a visit.

    Murat is a nice place with shopping facilities (e.g. Jambon D'Auvergnat), unfortunately almost not within walking distance of the CP. Good starting point for many beautiful destinations in the Auvergne. No parcelling out, therefore spacious pitches, but little shade. Detailed information material available at the registration desk. We have been there three times in the last 8 years and will be happy to return in the future.
