Beautiful place in the mountains
We received a very friendly welcome in English at reception. Beautifully situated pitch under tall pine trees. Plenty of shade. Very pleasant despite the gloriously hot temperatures under the trees. You can buy the essentials on site (water, baguettes, etc.). There is also a restaurant. However, we catered... for ourselves, which is no indication of the cuisine. The menu was varied and what we saw on the plates of other guests looked delicious. The place was only sparsely occupied. Therefore free choice of seats possible. The site is on a slight slope. There are not many level pitches. Therefore, take leveling wedges with you. The river flows directly past the site, where you can also swim. However, the water is not particularly warm as it is a mountain river. Sanitary facilities are basic, but still ok. On the way there you drive through the beautiful Asco Gorge with fantastic views of the mountain landscape and into the Asco Gorge. Absolutely worth seeing. The site is located between the village of Asco and Hout Asco (ski station). An absolute must if you want to enjoy the beauty of the Corsican landscape. The GR20 hiking trail also passes by the plateau.

Very nice CP with lots of trees. Nice starting point for hiking or cycling. A river with several small swimming pools flows right next to the pitches!
