FOREST - WATER - WINE - CULTURE The terraced camping site is situated on the eastern slope of the Main valley near Triefenstein on the Main and is the ideal location for excursions into the Franconian wine country and the … Spessart nature park. Castles, palaces - including the famous Mespelbrunn moated castle - and historic towns such as Würzburg, Miltenberg, Wertheim and Lohr, as well as the charming valleys of the Spessart and the Main with its tributaries, offer varied destinations for exploring the region by car, on foot, by bike or by pleasure boat. The campsite has 350 pitches on a total area of around 90,000 square metres. The campsite is open all year round. The pitches are equipped with electricity, sewage and water connections. A separate area with electricity connections is reserved for transients for overnight stays or motorhomes. Tenters have their own area with electricity connections, and there is a separate youth campsite with a shelter and its own sanitary facilities. The family-friendly campsite, which has been awarded five stars by the DTV, offers all facilities for a pleasant stay. The sanitary facilities meet the highest standards. The restaurant with Italian cuisine has an adjoining room for celebrations and events. In the food kiosk, fresh bread rolls and baked goods are also available on Sundays and public holidays during the season. Our exemplary sports facilities have fields for football, beach volleyball, streetball and badminton. The table tennis and recreation hall, which is also located there, is a popular meeting place for young people. A separate children's playground and a small animal enclosure create entertaining worlds of adventure for our younger guests. Our newly built boules court is popular with senior citizens. In the evening, the large camper family gathers in the rustic barbecue hut with open fireplace for a romantic campfire. Our own boat mooring on the banks of the Main with slipway is only 300m away from the campsite. Right next to the campsite is the heated outdoor swimming pool of the municipality of Triefenstein with relaxing wellness facilities. The Holiday Club at Camping Main-Spessart-Park organises a varied programme 6 days a week in July and August - fun, games and excitement for young and old.
