Top campground for animal lovers and perfect for families
Great water slide park and several beautiful pools. The food at the campground is very good and reasonably priced. The location is simply beautiful—right on Lake Garda with its own dock.

Things have improved a lot
In recent years, not only have the restrooms been renovated, but the entire beach area has been redesigned and the pool area remodeled. As of this year, there’s also a new, very inviting reception building. The only thing that doesn’t really appeal to me is the restaurant—it feels a bit like a cafeteria.... But the food is good.

Although this isn’t the campground’s doing, the bike paths toward Lazise and Peschiera have also been expanded, so you can now easily reach the nearby towns without a car. It used to be rather difficult, especially heading toward Peschiera.

We’ve been coming back here year after year, even though we now avoid the region during peak season. In the off-season, however, this has become our favorite campground on Lake Garda—not just because the value for money is still great here.

We highly recommend it.

We can't think of anything
Always worth a visit, even in spring
We have now been to the Lido for the fourth time in 42 years. In late summer 1982 as a couple with a motorcycle and tent, at the beginning of summer 1994 with a caravan, child and cat, in 2014 again as a couple with a caravan in the middle of summer and finally, after another 10 years, in spring.
At... all times, the site had a capacity-oriented infrastructure (this now includes two catering facilities as well as the small supermarket and the pool area with several pools and water slide), which has been continuously modernized, while the structure of the staggered pitches with mostly shady planting has thankfully not changed. Only the proliferation of mobile homes in various designs has led to the loss of pitches directly on the lakeshore, which now has three additional jetties into the water as well as a jetty where you could also moor your boat.
There are easily accessible sanitary facilities spread across the site in combination with laundry and dishwashing rooms. The showers are large enough and the water is very warm. Everything was clean and tidy when we were there. There are several places with waste garbage cans for separate disposal, which are constantly emptied alternately, including on Sundays, and there are also sufficient disposal points for chemical toilets. For motorhomes, there is a good disposal infrastructure with a water filling station in front of the entrance barrier. The site also has a rental station for e-bikes and scooters.
The site is surrounded by a fence and the access gates are fitted with transponder locks. All guests are given a transponder when they register.
The price ratio is surprisingly moderate for the region.
The leisure facilities and commercial infrastructure as well as the cultural and urban attractions are available in abundance in the immediate and wider surroundings.

Spring 2023
I like the campsite. After staying twice on another site closer to Lazise with horrible sanitary facilities, this was a positive surprise. The pools were not all open this early in the year (only one), but this was apparent when booking and therefore not a negative. All in all, a great vacation at Camping Lido.

Unfortunately, there are a few
Unfortunately no 4 stars
We were here last year and had a pitch by the lake. This time we booked a few days in advance and got a standard pitch. You choose one when you arrive. Thank goodness there was still a normal standard pitch available, because our caravan would never have fitted on some of them.

You feel like you're... in the Netherlands because there are only Dutch people there, a handful of Italians, Germans, Austrians or others. Unfortunately, the entertainment is also very much geared towards the Dutch. Last year they still translated it for the German children, but unfortunately this year they didn't, so my children only went to the mini disco once and they didn't take part in the entertainment at all. It was always just "Netherlands" and the entertainers shouted and clapped loudly.
Last year the wash house was not so nice down by the lake, this time we were at the top, it was totally dirty. The toilets and showers were full of shit. Our children were only in the caravan, because the children's toilets were regularly full of shit. But also in the ladies' and gentlemen's rooms. It was really disgusting. We always tried to take an early shower, because the later it got, the dirtier and louder it got. There was shouting, thundering against the walls, the stay was not nice.

The restaurant was really delicious, I can only recommend it.

We won't be coming back. The place itself is beautiful, we will certainly find a new place on Lake Garda where we are happy.
Unfortunately, the price-performance ratio on this site is not right. Far too expensive and too many stars - the place is not worth it.

A good campsite in itself
We stayed at the campsite for a few days and actually didn't think it was too bad. The direct access to the lake was an advantage. The small water park wasn't just fun for the teens. The store sells bread rolls and other essentials. However, it is getting on in years. The restaurant is recommended. We... were on a luxury pitch and it was really big and great. The newly built sanitary building that we used was actually great. Large showers, toilets and washing facilities were great. If only there wasn't the issue of cleanliness. In addition, there was more life in the sanitary building than outside. As the lights were on at night and the doors and windows were open, all kinds of small animals flew and crawled in and unfortunately they weren't removed in the morning either. It was definitely not a relaxed shower or toilet visit. What a shame really.

Management aggressive and unfriendly
They actually wanted to banish us to our mobile homes after midnight and forbid us to talk, night watchmen stopped at us every hour and without prior notice blinded us in the face with a flashlight and aggressively forbade us to talk in a commanding tone!!!!
The men's washroom was already closed and... the men had to do their business with the ladies. (Corona sends its regards)
The place has lost a lot of charm in recent years due to unfriendly and incompetent employees and a boss who is a role model for nothing and nobody!

Shame on you for treating your PAYING GUESTS like this!

The behavior at the reception, especially the boss and the night watchman were aggressive and very loud.
Beautiful location, poor management
As we have often read in the reviews here, friendliness is NOT a priority at this campsite. We and other guests at the campsite were shouted at after sitting together with neighbors (without music or other noise) that we were too loud. Other guests were also followed and reprimanded by the two night... watchmen. It was all out of proportion. The sanitary facilities in our area were rarely if ever cleaned and were very dirty. The staff at the pool restaurant were very friendly and the food there was also very good. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Walking route, cleanliness of the sanitary facilities, dog shower too far away
Nice campsite for children, difficult for dog owners
The campsite has a nice pool with great slides, there is a lot on offer for children, it was a shame that due to the large number of Dutch guests the entertainment was almost entirely in Dutch, our child didn't want to take part. The campsite is less suitable for dogs, there are no dog walks and you... don't know where to go because of the hot asphalt. Cooling off in Lake Garda is impossible if the dog is supposed to use the dog shower afterwards, it's right at the top of the parking lot, the path is too long. In addition, there were no poop bags and no water bowls at reception. The costs are simply too high. The sanitary facilities were very dirty, many guests can't behave themselves, there were no shower squeegees, so you couldn't wipe away the dirt. In the high season it would be advisable to clean more often, but the costs are high. Otherwise the restaurant was quite good, the staff very nice, lots of sinks and the pitch very nice.

On the way to Remmidemmi Park
Oh, those were the days when we first came here in 1989: The campsite was only half full at Whitsun, the leisure facilities consisted of rusty swings and slides and you paid 25 marks for the whole family. It was incredibly quiet on the beach and there were only a few announcements on the campsite. And... today? A pool area with monster slides, unspeakable entertainment, including over-the-top karaoke artists from midday until the evening, and all for €40 for 2 people! The campsite is only suitable for those of us seeking relaxation to a very limited extent. Unfortunately, this trend towards noise on campsites is now widespread.

Good place with fair prices
Stayed here for 10 nights in June before the Whitsun vacation. Family with 4 year old child. Check in went smoothly we reserved a top pitch as they are quite central from the pitch and have wifi. We were allowed to choose a pitch. Unfortunately the pitches were mostly without grass because the campers... put sheets under their awning carpets. So it was muddy when it rained. The site has a good, not overpriced restaurant and a supermarket. At full occupancy long waiting times for bread rolls. Sanitary facilities modernized clean but no towel paper available. Pool for a 3 star place very good. Sunbeds at the pool are free of charge, the 4-5 star places in Croatia can learn something. Praise to the animation team which made a lot of effort. The location of the place is top peshera and gardaland very close. Good place in the low season I think in general in the high season Lake Garda is very crowded no matter where.

Good place on the southern shore of Lake Garda
The check-in went very smoothly. You can arrive from 8 am. On arrival we were asked if we had a reservation. As we had, we were given a map with available pitches and we were able to choose a pitch to our liking. We chose row 24, which was very close to the sanitary facilities and also very close to... the supermarket and the shore of Lake Garda. The pitches are bordered by light hedges and arranged in terraces. The size of the pitch is sufficient for a caravan including awning (in our case awning) and car with approx. 70 -80 m2. Electricity is easily accessible with a 10m cable. At check-in, each guest receives a wristband and the car gets a sticker on the windshield. This means you can drive in and out from 7am to midnight. The pool area is located in the upper area. There are 3 larger slides and a smaller one for younger guests. The pool area opens at around 10 am and during our stay the sun loungers were reserved with towels shortly afterwards until closing time at 7 pm. A small restaurant belongs to the pool area and is open until 11pm. The supermarket offers daily fresh baked goods from 8 am. Due to the size of the campsite, waiting times are to be expected during the season. The range in the supermarket is well stocked and the prices are reasonable for a campsite. There is a new sanitary building which is very busy. On road 28 there is an older building with showers, toilets and washing-up facilities. The showers and toilets are clean, but could do with renovation. The whole building is simply getting on in years. The new sanitary building has a modern design and there are rental bathrooms and rental toilets in the basement. Below the campsite is a jetty with direct access to Lake Garda. The shore is very stony and you should make sure you wear the right footwear. As most guests prefer the pool area, the lake is a little quieter. The campsite is ideal for visits to Gardaland, which is about 3 km away, the Moviepark and Canevaworld (an aquapark) are about 800 meters away. We can recommend this campsite, but you should consider the sanitary buildings which have not yet been renovated when choosing a campsite.

Everything is fine
We were here for a week at the beginning of October. There is now toilet paper in every wash house, the only thing missing is soap. But this is also our only negative point. We paid €31 a night for a wowa, two adults and two children. You really can't complain about that. Pitch in the second row with a wonderful, direct view of the lake. Space big enough for 7m wowa plus awning. Wash houses clean, store well equipped, restaurant okay.
