Condition of the Restroom Facilities Overall impression of the facility: very neglected Mostly permanent mobile homes; it’s more reminiscent of a trailer park in the U.S. When asked, the response was very dismissive
The worst campground on our trip...
The restrooms are more reminiscent of a train station restroom from the ’80s. You should only enter them wearing rubber boots.
The entire grounds look very neglected. Yet it’s advertised as a 4-star campground.
For us, this was by far the worst campground on our entire trip....

unfriendly staff, inadequate sanitary facilities, a cheeky pitch We felt unwelcome and deported
Worst campsite on our tour
PLACE: Only 17 tourist pitches, the rest cottages, very tightly built-up, tourist pitches apparently only where no cottage would fit. Only frequented by French people. --------------- Our pitch was next to the hedge, in the shade under thick trees, adjacent to the sports field, surrounded by chalets.... It was very cool there, even though the rest of the campsite was still sunny. There was no grass there, just a few weeds, otherwise sand/dirt. --------------------- RECEPTION: Reception at the reception desk was unfriendly, as was when we asked questions. Only the bare minimum was spoken, there was no information about anything (pitch, conditions, location, entertainment, excursion destinations, bread service....). The ladies at reception spoke very little English, no German, although this is advertised in various media. Bread orders for the next day were possible, but seemed undesirable and annoying. No store. --------------------- SWIMMING POOL: Nicely laid out, no shade, no slide. Very cold (unheated?). Positive: Showers next to the pool. Negative: Lots of insects in the water, showers/toilets by the pool not clean. --------------------- SANITARY: Sanitary building strangely divided, washing machine was constantly very loud, chemical toilet emptying in front (directly at the entrance), urinals behind it. Only 2 standing toilets and 2 sitting toilets (one of which is a disabled toilet) and 4 washing cubicles for all campers together. Toilet paper available, but no soap. Nasty smell of detergent. ------------------------ Sink sufficiently available and quite clean, but water pressure too high, splashed you wet. ----------------------- The water in the washing cubicles was extremely short. Not even enough to hold your hand underneath after pressing, so you absolutely needed both hands. ----------------------------- CHILDREN: Animation only for older children, only French. Playground very unloving: mini climbing frame with slide, 2 swings. ------------------------------ OTHER: Beach good and clean. Relatively busy, approx. 250 m from the campsite. Tourist center approx. 800 m easily accessible. Place itself is confusing, consists of several parts.

I don't know why the campsite got so many stars. The sanitary facilities didn't work at all
