Good water park with great slides. For families with children and a desire for entertainment. Nice helpful staff, even if only some of the youngsters spoke English. Good WiFi bookable.
Negativa
Mini market, which was more of a kiosk without any goods. But there are plenty of supermarkets 2-4 km away. Therefore not tragic. Water park quite close to the main road
Small but nice
A small but nice mobile home campsite that belongs to Capfun with the red fundose. In the French. During the French summer vacations there is animation, which sometimes goes over the closing time. But everything within reason, no Ballermann. Very well-kept complex, friendly and helpful staff. Varied... water park with fun slides. A typical Capfun playground with a giant climbing tower and slide. Bouncy castle, football pitch and basketball court, restaurants with good food at fair prices. However, we always cooked our own meals on site. The mobile home was fine. Perhaps the beds are not necessarily suitable for people over 120 kg. But you can manage. The only thing you should refrain from doing at the end of August and beginning of September is parking by the house, thanks to the wonderful shade provided by the oak trees. Keyword acorn rain. The beach near Palmyre is a good 20-25km away. There is the town beach in Royan, but we love nature and had our dog with us. However, the beaches near Palmyre can certainly compete with the Landes coast. Great kilometers of sandy beaches and sometimes strong waves. We enjoyed our stay despite the Corona safety precautions such as compulsory masks in town. For dog owners, there are plenty of forest and field paths for four-legged friends in the immediate vicinity. The huge field of sunflowers in bloom is really great!
