Located in the heart of the Corrèze hills, Le Mas d’Ayen is a peaceful, eco-friendly retreat perfect for nature lovers and those seeking a quiet escape. Spanning 7 hectares, this small, family-run campsite offers a serene atmosphere with stunning views …of the surrounding green valleys and forested hills. Accommodation & Pitches The site features 24 spacious, grassy pitches (80–200 m²) designed for tents and small motorhomes/caravans (maximum 6 meters). Each pitch is equipped with 6-amp electrical hook-ups. For those seeking more comfort, the estate also offers three charming gîtes and a fully furnished Bell Tents and Camping Pods. Facilities & Amenities At the center of the campsite is "The Mas," a traditional stone farmhouse with a beautiful courtyard. Relaxation: An outdoor saltwater swimming pool overlooks the panorama, featuring a sun deck for quiet afternoons. Dining: The pretty courtyard restaurant serves pizza nights and table d’hôte menus on select nights, showcasing local ingredients and regional flavors. A snack bar and fresh bread service are also available. Guests have access to a pristine shower block (unisex), a launderette, and free WiFi in the central courtyard area. Activities & Surroundings Le Mas d’Ayen is a "quiet site" where the sounds of nature prevail. The location is a hiker's paradise, situated on the Route de Noix du Périgord, with marked trails leading to the medieval village of Ayen (1.5 km) and the "Most Beautiful Village" of Saint-Robert. Major attractions like the Lascaux Caves and Brive-la-Gaillarde are just a 35-minute drive away. To preserve the tranquil environment, music is not permitted, and the site is car-free in the pitching areas. Friendly dogs are welcome on a lead.
