It is in easy reach of La Rochelle on the bus, the pitch was good size and well placed for us as near communal BBQ. Best waste water dump for our motorhome ever. Didn't eat at the restaurant or swim in the pool but both looked good.

Would have been really helpful to be given a small map to indicate where to find the bus to town - some camp sites print it on back of pitch map.

We had a pleasant stay and were given a beautiful room. There was a warm, French atmosphere all around us. The pool was lovely; it was a shame the restaurant wasn't open during the day, so we couldn't have a drink on the terrace in the afternoon.

Everything was fine, though—except perhaps for the condition of some of the private mobile homes, which looked a bit run-down.

The size of the pool

I was just passing through for two nights. I was very surprised to find that the campground is located in a large shopping area. A big thunderstorm unfortunately made the atmosphere a bit gloomy. I enjoyed the pool when it reopened—the water quality was excellent and it was a nice depth.

There's direct access to the store; the restrooms are cleaned regularly; and the staff at the front desk are friendly and welcoming. The biggest plus was the activity leaders—they were fantastic—and my kids loved them.

The industrial area might surprise you, and so might the planes flying overhead

A pleasant campground with a family-friendly atmosphere and a very warm welcome. The mobile home was clean and located in a shaded area. Large swimming pool with an area that can be sheltered if necessary.

The signage might need to be revised (signs with mobile home numbers). A bigger slide would have been nice, but my kids had a lot of fun with the one that's there now.

The common areas (showers) are very clean. The campground is close to public transportation (buses) for getting to La Rochelle, Minimes Beach, and a large shopping center.

I really liked the friendly staff at the front desk, the pool, and the restrooms. The large campsite under the trees also provided us with plenty of shade. We'll be back.

Staff Availability

For a 4-star campground, the restrooms were quite run-down; there was no toilet paper when we arrived, and the pool is very small for the number of people staying at the campground.

The campground was clean, and the area where we were parked at this time of year was very quiet—we slept well. The pool water was nice and warm. There was a concert at the campground restaurant, which made for a pleasant evening. We had a great time.

The attached bungalow was pleasant and comfortable, but small—sufficient for our stay, but too small to stay any longer.

Dining and drinking. A very uninviting patio with old chairs (which my husband sank through and fell out of) and tables. This could be so much cozier.
