"Disappointing - despite great location - Disappointing stay - despite great location The campsite is in a really beautiful location: the beach is excellent and the proximity to the town with its many restaurants is hard to beat. Unfortunately, our stay was disappointing overall - mainly due to poor organization and a lack of service. A lot of things were uncoordinated right from the booking stage. When we asked about the ACSI Card, we received three contradictory answers. In the end, it was not accepted two out of three weeks - even though it was advertised at reception. This was misleading and cost us an extra €165. The staff at reception seemed mostly listless and unhelpful. The place - apart from the well-kept pool area - made a generally careless impression. Too bad, because the location had much more potential. The sanitary facilities were sprayed out twice a day, but were not really clean. Consistent dirt in the washbasins, soap only one week out of three. There was garbage around the building and even a dog turd for two weeks. The direct beach access is only open from 8am to 8pm. It is therefore not possible to go for a walk at sunrise or sunset. The alternative route via the main entrance takes 10-15 minutes on foot. The "restaurant" is more of a kiosk. The store on the square is expensive, the selection is small. Two types of baguette: a simple one for €1.30 (often empty or not fully baked) and a better one for €2.30. Tip: You can be in the town with good bakeries and stores in 3 minutes by bike. Conclusion: We won't be back and unfortunately can't recommend this place.

"Never again - A much too large campsite that stinks extremely of dog urine in many places (unfortunately also on our pitch - we had the feeling of camping in a tiger cage :-( ...) The beach is still extremely crowded for the end of August. And you have to walk a long way. From 7 p.m. you have to flee inside because everything is full of mosquitoes. I've never experienced anything like it. Walking to the showers is like running the gauntlet :-( The worst place in many years of camping 😕

"Chaotic allocation of parking spaces - We had a very bad experience with the allocation of pitches for motorhomes. For the first night, we had to stay on a pitch without electricity as all pitches with electricity were supposedly allocated, but this was not the case. The pitch was right next to a wash house and it smelled terribly of sewage. All for 28 euros a night. The next day, we only managed to move to a pitch with electricity after intensive discussions and showing pictures of free pitches with electricity on our cell phones. The explanations and reasons given by the staff at reception were incomprehensible, or at least not comprehensible.

"Large pitch right by the sea, but without a sea view - We were surprised that the campsite was already open, even at the end of March. But the occupancy rate was such that this seemed justified. All in all, it's a typical French campsite, which in high season mutates into a vacation resort offering the full program. In the low season, however, it is very quiet and the sanitary facilities are only partially open. And then, of course, without an entertainment program.

"Chaotic - We were there spontaneously for 2 nights, we found it very chaotic. As there wasn't that much going on (off-season) we were able to choose a pitch on 2 field strips, because of the few bushes or boundaries all the camper vans were standing all over the place. The paths to the san houses were ok, but not properly lit. There was toilet paper, but it was always empty, as it had to be collected at the toilet entrance. In front of the ladies' toilets there were 2 open basins for disposing of the cassette toilets, I would really prefer a different solution. The sinks were very outdated and therefore looked bad. The sea was easy to reach and so was the beach ;) The town was also easy to reach on foot or by bike.
