Very nice campsite!
Beautiful, on the lake in the middle of nature, ideal for swimming, fishing, hiking & cycling. The campsite is really beautiful with very spacious pitches! We will be back!

Car-free nature square
We spent 2 short weekends at this great place. It's in a nice quiet location on a beautiful swimming and fishing lake with a small forest. The whole site is very well maintained, the operators are very nice and helpful. The sanitary facilities are clean, although there are only two showers, but as you... shower for 4 minutes with a card, the waiting time is bearable. Children romp around the site all day, there's a play equipment here and there and no cars are a nuisance. The dogs were allowed to go to the lake, where you can go for a nice walk. The road with little traffic is not so good. On some days they bake pizza in their own wood-fired oven, which is good, but we weren't full despite paying €11 for a pizza. Bread rolls can be ordered at the reception, the town is about 3km away, there is also a supermarket. The campsite is centrally located, so you can make nice trips (Giethorn, Groningen, Leeuwarden, Lauwersoog ......)
