A well-located campground in Saint-Malo
The campground is located just below the Saint-Malo fortress, and if you’re interested in World War II history, this is the perfect spot for you. The historic center of Saint-Malo is quick and easy to reach by bike—a must-do when visiting Saint-Malo. Getting to the campground, especially with large RVs,... can be a challenge.
The facilities—including restrooms, showers, and dishwashing areas—are located in a lower-lying area of the campground; they’re small and showing their age. If you have high standards for comfort and cleanliness, this isn’t the place for you. At the top of the campground, there was a bar open during our visit.
The campground is built on a slope, so depending on your vehicle, you may need to put in some effort to level it properly. Despite the campground being full during our visit, the staff was always friendly and helpful.

fulfills its purpose
The campsite is very basic, simple communal sanitary facilities, which were clean so far (depending partly on the guests, of course), the showers, separated into Weibel and Männel, were very hot. Bread roll service, otherwise currently no further supply. Sant Servan is within walking distance, to Sant... Malo it is a good 30 minutes, I recommend the bike, because in Sant Malo you also walk a lot and have to go back.
The pitches are generously sized, some of them need to be leveled.

Loved it. Very well tent area, nice, by bike about 7 min to the main town of St. Malo, the campsite overlooks the next bay, very nice.

Proximity to St. Malo is great. Easy to reach on foot or by bike. Bar Zero Point with live concerts right next door.

Sanitary facilities are very outdated.
Good location, simple place
Despite its simplicity, the site is recommended for a short stay as it is very close to St. Malo. It is quiet and simple.
Bar Zero Point with many local visitors is great.

Top as a pitch - flop as a campsite
Municipal site with an estimated 200 pitches, some with a view of the bay and the old town of St. Malo. Camping operations ended seasonally on September 3, 2018. However, the site remained open as a pitch. The sanitary facilities were locked, but electricity and water were available. The occupancy rate... was only around 5%, i.e. top pitches for everyone. We paid 12.50 for our motorhome with 2 people and electricity in mid-September. Reception was open for a short time in the morning and afternoon. It takes about 30 minutes to walk to the old town of St. Malo. The site is on a hill and some of the pitches are very uneven. Electricity posts are rare, 50m of cable is advisable. On the site and adjacent to it, there are bullet-ridden bunkers and anti-aircraft positions from the Second World War. --------------------- We were here once before in 2012. If nothing has changed in the sanitary facilities, they are not worth 2 stars. The fact that the facilities are currently closed enhances the site.

Location, peace and quiet

Ideal for sightseeing
Centrally located and yet in the countryside. Perfect for visiting St. Malo and Dinard. Sanitary facilities old and superficially cleaned. No toilet seats, everything unisex. OK for a few days.

Seat reservation quite cumbersome
A little spartan, but good!
I spent a night here with my motorcycle and tent as my ferry to the Channel Islands was due to leave early in the morning. The pitch was not perfectly flat, but nicely situated and partly shady. You have to be aware that the sanitary facilities are practically at the entrance to the Memorial... but they... were clean. From the campsite you can quickly reach the town or the beach on foot. However, I found reserving a pitch on the internet a bit awkward, as there was initially no confirmation online - this then arrived by post about a week later.

The location, the reasonable price, friendliness

Pitches could be paved a little better.
A very exciting campsite
Campers who want luxury are in the wrong place here. The sanitary facilities are more reminiscent of the 50s but were always clean. The water flow could be improved so that you don't always have to press the button when showering. The location of the CP is simply great at the harbor right next to a fortress... from the Second World War (museum visit worthwhile). Saint Malo old town is within easy walking distance. The pitches are often a bit sloping and very soggy when it rains. The pitch we had booked was too wet, so we were able to choose another one straight away. The staff are very nice.

Great location - shortcomings in detail
Great location - right at the campsite exit with a view of the old town of St. Malo, which is within walking distance (2 km). The sanitary facilities are fine in and of themselves, but undersized when the site is full. At peak times, the water pressure was not sufficient for all toilet flushes ... . Most of the pitches are very uneven.

Schön gelegener, praktischer Camping
Der Camping war der Ausgangspunkt für unsere Fahrradtour der bretonischen Küste entlang. Wir haben zwei Nächte auf dem Camping verbraucht. Die Einrichtungen waren für unseren Zweck ausreichend und praktisch und es hat Restaurants in der näheren Umgebung.

Saint Malo is a very beautiful town and we were a little sorry that we had to leave after just 3 days. I definitely recommend booking in advance, as we were very lucky to get one of the last free pitches. The sanitary facilities were quite reasonable, they could have been a bit nicer, but at least there... were no standing toilets and everything was clean. A bunker complex from the Second World War borders the site and is well worth a visit. The old town and the beach of Saint Malo are also great and the island of Jersey is another must-see attraction.

The pitch is on a slope, chocks are an advantage. Approx. 2 km to the old town (Ville Close). Beautiful view of the bay and the old town.
