A cozy family campground,

We would have liked to know in advance that our site only had a 4-amp power supply.

Campground with spacious sites.

It was a shame that, at the campground where we were staying, so many RVs were stopping for just one night to have a new mattress custom-fitted. This doesn't really allow for a peaceful stay at the sites.

It's a very well-maintained campground

The view—or lack thereof—of a hedge several meters high didn't bring us much joy; in fact, it was disappointing.

A truly pleasant stay with friendly staff. Beautiful campsites and good restroom facilities.

A lovely campground and beautiful surroundings. We enjoyed some great cycling—it’s fantastic here, too. We actually found the campsites where dogs weren’t allowed to be more cozy than our dog-friendly site.

Great location, close to the city, perfect for cycling and hiking. Swimming lake and pool available.

Sanitary building outdated, insufficient in number and dirty. Likewise the flushing facilities.

The campground was in a beautiful location. It was pretty quiet. There were also a lot of children there, which was fun for our grandson.

The sandwich service doesn't open until 9 a.m. We thought that was a bit late, which is why we used it on our first day. Also, I'd open the patio a little earlier. The patio looks really cozy right by the pool.

The midweek getaway with my granddaughter Lara couldn't have gone better. It was incredibly kid-friendly.

The RV sites are beautiful and spacious

It's too bad the restaurant wasn't open and the snack bar is only open on Saturdays and Sundays from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

It’s the high season rate, but the restaurants and bars aren’t open (yet), and there’s no children’s entertainment. Plant more trees to provide shade. This is already necessary now, let alone in the future.

The restrooms could be cleaned more often, especially since there's so much black sand. Too bad there wasn't much available for sale; the snack bar was closed.

We spent a wonderful long weekend on a beautiful, spacious campsite nestled among the trees—site 17. There’s a nice little pool with a separate section for the little ones. The reception staff were friendly and welcoming. Good cafeteria. Beautifully situated in the area, with a nearby restaurant and a rowing pond surrounded by a lovely park and playground.

More supervision at the pool—there were young people constantly jumping into the pool. It wasn’t really a problem for me, but I noticed that some older people were really bothered by it. And by that, I don’t mean younger children jumping off the edge, but rather older teenagers who take a long run-up and dive hard into the water. Although I can imagine it’s also difficult for the young staff to call them out on it. I did say something, but as soon as I left, it started all over again.

Don't advertise that you can go fishing, because there are no fishing spots along the shore

The restrooms are outdated We were at a campground where the restrooms were completely enclosed from top to bottom, and I found that much more comfortable. As a campground owner, I would definitely focus on that myself

That there is a swimming pool and a small lake

A mat at the entrance to the restroom building. A roll of toilet paper near the shower stalls so people can pick up their hair from the floor, plus a trash can.

Every year, I look forward to June, when we get to enjoy our spruced-up trailer at the Kienehoef. In the morning, I go for a run, followed by a quick swim in the lake. It’s fantastic! The kids are busy all day on their SUPs and fishing with a dip net. They build huts in the woods and dive for rings in the pool. In the evening, we enjoy good times with friends over a barbecue and a drink. And school and work? We just handle those from here. See you next year!

The accommodations were fine and well-maintained
