Beautifully situated with a view of
the mountains. Everything was very clean and
tidy. The owners are very friendly and helpful. The bread delivery service was perfect.
We had a small table and two chairs at our campsite, along with pots of beautifully blooming and fragrant lilies. We thought that... was very pretty and thoughtful.
Right on the hiking trail. It’s not far to Ramsau by bike, either. It was a perfect short getaway—we’d love to come back.

It's a bit far from town—a 1-hour hike to the nearest one—or you'll have to move your car; the bus only runs until 6 p.m.
Idyllically situated
Perfect for relaxing and cooking your own meals. Ideal for those looking to "get back to nature." If you're looking for action, this isn't the place for you. Hourly bus service to and from the Dachstein Railway until 5:00 p.m. Bread roll delivery service.

Great location
The owners are incredibly friendly and always eager to find solutions—thanks to Inge and Niels. I had to change spots three times because I hadn’t booked in advance and was undecided at first. Still, we were always able to find a solution, and I felt very comfortable there.
The location is a bit off... the beaten path from Ramsau, on a hillside. But that’s no problem—you can set out on a hike, go mountain biking, or take the bus right from the campsite.

A very nice, clean, and quiet campground
This was our first time at this campground, and we felt right at home from the very first minute. The campground isn't too crowded. It's very clean, and the view is one-of-a-kind. You can start hiking right from the campground. Highly recommended!!!

Quiet campsite in a great location
A really nice place, small and nice.
We received a very warm welcome and had a lovely pitch.
The sanitary block was always clean and the paths are all close by.

The site is in a fantastic location for hiking and biking. If you have no idea where to go, there are maps available at the campsite.

The... bread roll service is uncomplicated and the baked goods are also delicious (in our experience, this is not a matter of course).

We felt very comfortable and will definitely be back.

Very quiet and beautiful campsite
It was a super nice stay. We really liked the small, family-run campsite. The operators were helpful and friendly at all times.

Un piccolo gioiellino
Piccolo e meraviglioso campeggio, un gioiellino da non lasciarsi scappare. Il campeggio è pulito e curato con amore e dedizione da tutta la famiglia. Il passaggio è mozzafiato e di notte sembra di poter toccare le stelle. Sicuramente super consigliato!

Small, quiet and green square
If you are looking for peace and relaxation, this family-run campsite is just the place for you.
It is a small, quiet and beautifully designed site with lots of greenery.
The site is located on the edge of Ramsau, not far from the Dachstein on a south-facing slope. There are small tables, chairs and... benches available. Children can let off steam on the play equipment.
The cleanliness should be emphasized. The sanitary facilities and washing-up areas are cleaned several times a day.
Waste separation is well thought out and waste is disposed of daily. The site leaves a very well-kept impression.
Fresh bread rolls are provided in the morning.
The buses take you quickly to the many cable cars and other attractions.
We spent 3 weeks relaxing here and felt very comfortable. You can tell how much love and joy the place is run with. Thanks to Inge and Niels for the wonderful time.

Beautifully situated, quiet place
This was our 3rd time here and it won't be the last. If you are looking for peace and relaxation, this is the place for you. A good starting point for hikes of all levels of difficulty.

It is very remote, you are dependent on a car, .... or cross-country skiing pro. There are only 2 showers and toilets for women, perhaps not enough for full occupancy. Shower cubicle very small.
Great view
We spontaneously got a pitch over Christmas and felt very comfortable. There are plenty of hiking trails, the cross-country ski trails are groomed right up to the campsite, but are only suitable for advanced cross-country skiers. Maybe we'll make it next year....

New Year's Eve 24/25
We spent a wonderful week at this beautifully situated campsite in glorious weather. The campsite offers a breathtaking view of the snow-covered mountains. The cross-country ski trail starts right at the campsite. The sanitary facilities are very clean. Friendliness and helpfulness are a matter of course... for the campsite operators. Fresh bread rolls can be ordered daily. Anyone who loves peace and quiet is in good hands here.

Hallo Frank, danke für deine Bewertung. Ich glaube wir haben damals gesprochen über die schlechte Busverbindung.
Leider sind wir abhängig von dem Dienstplan von der Gemeinde und fahren die Bussen im Winter wenig.
Ich hoffe es bleibt dir gut gehen und gerne bis ein anderes Mal.

Camping Dachstein is a small, quiet, very clean and natural campsite with a view of the valley.
If you are looking for peace and quiet, you will find it here.
The operators are very friendly and helpful.
The sanitary facilities are small, very clean and adequate for the size of the site.
Numerous hiking... tours start directly at the campsite.
The bus leaves every hour directly from the campsite in the direction of Ramsau or Filzmoos.
The daily bread roll service, which is also available on public holidays, is very good. Baked goods are delivered early so that hiking tours can also be started early.
We felt very comfortable and it was not the last time we stayed at this wonderful little campsite.
