our transit from Vienna to Croatia (called 15 min before), we received a warm welcome from a cheerful enthusiastic campground owner. Proudly he showed us the swimming pool and the cozy indoor area. Everything looked neat and the plumbing beautifully new. As a welcome we received... a plum schnapps brewed from Slovenia. Two couples on bicycles who slept in tents were allowed to spend the night in the indoor area because of the rain at night. A friendly quiet and small campground, ideal for 1 or a few nights in transit. Even the possibility to cool off in the pool with hot weather. And the owner makes you feel very welcome. We extended our stay and spent a whole day driving through the remote, ancient villages of the Sickle Mountains - highly recommended, although the roads are very... narrow and not suitable for motorhomes.
The friendly owner and his wife speak good English and take great care of their guests. All the facilities are as good as new and are lovingly maintained and kept clean. The pool was already in use in mid-May and offered us a welcome cool-down.
The site offers a beautiful view of the surrounding fields and the Sichel Mountains. The morning cockcrow from the neighboring property underlines the rural ambience. There is a good bakery nearby. In the nearby beautiful market square of Samobor, there are many restaurants and cafés where you can linger.

Because we liked it so much, we stopped there again on our return journey. The operators are very friendly and courteous, you are welcomed as a guest and warmly received. It has about 10 pitches, a nice lounge/garden area, all in a relaxed style.... The pitches are all around the pool, it is very quiet there in the evening. Samobor is only 10 minutes away, a really nice little town with K&K flair and good restaurants. An ideal starting point for overnight stays and excursions to the surrounding area of Zagreb and Samobor. Operator provides excellent local tips on sights and restaurants.
