Ideal campsite for visiting Zadar
Camp Dido is a small but nice campsite, which is ideal for a city tour of Zadar or as an overnight stop on the way to Greece. Sandra, the manager, is extremely friendly and helpful and immediately organized a cab for us to the city centre.
The site has a small, always clean sanitary block and a second... one is currently under construction. The disposal facilities for motorhomes are easily accessible. There are plenty of wonderful restaurants in the immediate vicinity.

Despite the rather late arrival at 6.30 pm, everything was prepared and the owner was still present.
Contact by email was as fast as a messenger. Even with my rather limited knowledge of English, it was possible to communicate well. The site was mostly occupied by motorhomes, mainly over 50 couples.... The sanitary building was small but adequate and well maintained. A second building was just being completed. The whole area is very good for hiking whether by bike, car or on foot. The various national parks are easily accessible. But you should take money with you. 🙈

Nice place for sightseeing Zadar
We stayed at this small site with 20 pitches for one night to visit the old town of Zadar, which is well worth seeing. The operator is very friendly and helpful. The site is largely flat and has shady trees. The adjacent pebble beach can be reached quickly from all the pitches. Access is via a narrow... side road, and the site itself is completely quiet, even if the guests are quiet.

There is an apparently completely new sanitary building in the middle of the site. Everything you need in terms of infrastructure is available.

1 of the 3 service people speaks English reasonably well. Sanitary facilities perpetually dirty, bad smelling. Beach at the campground small, partly concrete, always full (August). No separate plots and no water at the camping site. This campground is rather quiet, but there are others next door where... young people like to party. Using a washing machine costs 20 kuna. The price is rather low (20 euros/2os/day), but I've been to clean campsites for the same price. To the center of the town about 20 minutes walk.
