It's clean everywhere, even all the garbage bins are hosed down and cleaned every morning. there are lots of things to do in the area. Everything was quite old and simple.Beautiful location for leisure activities.The site is beautifully situated. The entrance is very narrow. Almost all the pitches have a view of the lake, but are very small. The sanitary facilities are clean, but totally outdated. The lights are mostly off, very dark. In the front area there is only one toilet facility with 2 toilets and 2 showers. The beautiful location does not make up for the miserable conditions. It was wonderfully relaxing to sit under the olive trees directly on the lake wall. We spent five days on the site with our tent and dog and didn't feel at all lost among the caravans and motorhomes. A friendly, rather older crowd who enjoyed a... deeply relaxed vacation. The restaurant on the site offers great pizza and delicious Italian cuisine. Shopping facilities directly in the village, easily accessible on foot. A bicycle is an advantage. Great walks, although they are always uphill at first. If you want to combine the ambience of Lake Garda with peace and quiet, Riva di San Pietro is the place for you. There is no entertainment, no disco and no baby dancing. Although the campsite is located directly on a railroad line (which makes it... easy to reach the towns along the eastern shore) and on a road, neither is disturbing and it is quiet at night. On arrival, the first thing we noticed was that the site was almost 100% in Dutch hands, and on a tour of the fairly clearly laid out site we discovered exactly 4 German license plates :-) Dutch people are usually very nice and sociable,... but our daughter still found it a little difficult to make contact. It wasn't until the 3rd week of August that guests from Germany and other countries arrived. The site is very well run, the sanitary facilities are not exactly nice but always clean. Things that broke were repaired within 1-2 days. The staff are very friendly and attentive, especially the manager at reception. Swimming caps are compulsory in the very well-kept, small pool and in the children's paddling pool. The pitches are not parceled out and are also quite small, there was a lack of privacy. Cars must be parked on the edge of the campsite. The campsite is beautifully landscaped with various trees and has a great sunbathing lawn by the lake. Bathing shoes are recommended for access to the water. The site is used a lot by boaters, so many of them are "anchored" at the bathing area. Despite the proximity to the main road, our pitch (roughly halfway between the road and the lake) was very quiet. Overall, Lake Iseo is not very touristy. If you prefer the original Italy, this is the right place for you and the campsite is highly recommended, even if it gets crowded in the high season.Automatski prevedeno.1 kamper smatra ovu ocjenu korisnom.
