Beautiful location on the river, simple, moderately maintained, poorly planned
The site is picturesquely situated on a small loop of a river below the road. This makes it pretty, but the moderate road traffic is clearly audible. The place itself is kind of strange. There are some shady but small sites by the river that seem trapped between the river and the restroom building. Further... up there are bright, large and unusable pitches. Unusable because the path to the only toilet block is a bit of a hike and because the pitches are all sloping, yes, they all have slopes. The facilities are basic. Showers with lukewarm water, probably hot in summer thanks to solar power, a few washbasins, done. The small restaurant is a bitter disappointment. 12€ for chips and schnitzel, loveless, tasteless, without a side dish, just doesn't fit, that's snack food and half would have been enough. For one night on the way the place is ok out of season.
