Maccagno is easy to reach by car / RV / caravan or by train. Maccagno itself has a small station platform. Larger towns with better access to major cities are Luino, Varese or Bellinzona. Maccagno also has a ferry pier … (just 300 m from the campsite), which runs daily to tourist destinations such as Luino, Cannobbio or Isola Bella and Isola Madre.
