Very well-kept CP, quiet, with a great swimming lake in the French Ardennes
The outdoor facilities of the campsite are very well maintained. The green pitches vary in size and are comfortably bordered by hedges, medium-high trees, tiny "store", delicious baguette (also with grains!) to order in advance, snack bar, sanitary facilities simple but relatively clean (dirt from unclean... fellow guests) - in the low season only half of the site was open - the site is under Dutch management, staff very friendly. The highlight is the long warm ! Bathing lake, as a dammed historical canal, great for swimming, right next to the site with non-swimmer part and small sandy beach, climbing frames for the little ones, football pitch 500 m away, agricultural surroundings, slight hills, very rural, very quiet. A good place to relax away from the main traffic routes, approx. 1000 m to the village for the essentials, small supermarket. New navigation system did not know the address of the site, but the campsite in the village was well signposted
