The prices are very high.Unfriendly staffIt was raining and some of the campers (including those with children) stayed under the awnings and umbrellas in the area of the restaurant due to a lack of other options. The restaurant owner, who arrived in the course of the morning, completely lost it and very aggressively and angrily asked people... to leave. Incidentally, he doesn't offer breakfast at all and doesn't open until shortly before midday.
The grumpy receptionist (who he obviously knows well personally) didn't interfere.
I was really disappointed with the staff. I've never experienced this at a campsite before. We liked it very much!НегативиThe trees are still very small, so the pitches are sunny!Beautiful place opposite DürnsteinLocated directly on the Danube and the Danube cycle path. Everything quite new and clean. Events are often held on the adjacent grounds, but not disruptive.
Overall, however, you need a bike or a car, then everything fits.

We have been to the site several times, beautifully situated on the Danube, very quiet! With the small ferry across the Danube directly to Dürnstein, good wine taverns and very nice operators of the place👍😎 , the sanitary facilities were always very clean during our vacation, thanks for that too 👍🤩! Friendly staff.НегативиThis time everything was a building site with noise and unrest.Beautiful place in beautiful surroundingsThis was our third time here. But this time everything was a little different. Flood protection is currently being built. The walk to the sanitary building was quite long and the number of pitches is somewhat reduced. The noise pollution is also quite high on weekdays, but it is relatively quiet at weekends.... The restaurant serves good food and you can enjoy a nice glass of local wine. As always, the sanitary facilities are very clean and the staff are friendly and courteous. The pitches are almost all located directly on the Danube and are clean. There is plenty of water available. Waste disposal is currently rather provisional due to the building site, but it still works. The building site will be finished next year.

Just look ahead and don't drive so fast.Campsite with a view and a heartWe (a couple without children) had booked a pitch on the Danube. The campsite was quiet and we had a beautiful view of Dürnstein. It was really romantic in the evening.
From the campsite you could also make beautiful bike tours and hikes to the other side of the Danube, as the ferry is right next to... the campsite.
The campsite itself has a beer garden and the wine taverns were not far away. Just around the corner, the winegrower also has a wine fridge if it gets late.
There is a bread roll service from the local bakery in Dürnstein.
Mrs. Roller is the heart of the campsite. She has a smile on her face and an open ear for all your needs. This despite a flood 3 weeks earlier and severe hail damage. She also takes care of runaway dogs and mothers them. You could say she puts her heart and soul into it.

We felt so comfortable at Camping Rossatz that we stayed for two weeks instead of just one. Such a cozy place and... the location beats many top places. We received a very nice welcome from Mrs. Roller and this continued throughout our stay. The showers are a bit older but large and there was always hot water, including a hand shower.
