Very pleasant campsite
Pleasant campsite a few minutes from Corte by car, polite but cool welcome, pitches well separated from each other, sanitary facilities in need of updating, but clean. Shady pitches with the possibility of parking your car next to your tent. Possibility of freezing plastic ice blocks for coolers, but... you can't freeze even small bottles of water. The only downside is that the nearby farm starts its activities in the early hours of the morning (5.30-6 a.m.) Ideal starting point for hiking and discovering the region.

This campsite is practically in Corte on the northern edge of the town. It is a "L'aire naturelle" campsite, i.e. a meadow for tents with a wash house and no frills around it. It really is a very pleasant spot with plenty of peace and quiet and shady pitches. Despite its simplicity, you can tell that... the site is run with a lot of care and love. The campsite is located on a slope in the forest. The pitches have been leveled and are spaced far apart so that nobody has to feel cramped. The sanitary building is located in the lower part of the site. It is very plain and simple, but functional and clean. The small dishwashing area is shared with a few bats that have taken up residence there. The site is not illuminated, so you definitely need a flashlight at night! There is also a kind of snack bar at reception. Only cash payment is possible.
