The way to the sea is a little awkward over a bridge (river) If you want to cycle into Calvi, there is a short stretch on the busy main road.
Plenty of space
Very large pitches, children's playground, airfield nearby but only 1h2 flights in 2 days

Large pitches, beach access, boat mooring, everything you need is there. Good price - performance ratio

Relatively dusty, aircraft noise during the day (but didn't bother me).
Super!
Despite arriving in high season, we were able to choose between 3 or 4 pitches. We opted for a pitch right by the river, where our very large camper van fitted in really easily. The campsite offers solid standard facilities, everything is well maintained, sanitary facilities work and are clean. Store... ok, restaurant very good (but only been there once).
Although there is no pool, there is direct access to Calvi beach. I have a small motor dinghy and there was a perfect mooring for it, you could sail a little way down the river directly from the campsite into the bay of Calvi :-)

All in all, one of the best places I've found in Corsica so far, also in terms of value for money. The much-maligned aircraft noise is of course present during the day, if it bothers you, you should go somewhere else - it didn't bother us.

A very nice campsite, located directly on the sandy beach in the bay of Calvi. Beautiful large shady pitches, very friendly staff who immediately unlocked the electricity box for us, super tasty food at good prices (baguette top). Newly tiled sanitary facilities for the men, apparently not yet for the... women. Price for 2 people + petit bus + electricity + tax = €24 (low season). The only drawback of the site is that it is located directly under the flight path of Calvis airport, where around 5-8 larger planes take off and land every day in summer. However, it is very quiet at night and you only hear the frogs. The site is also well lit at night. Everything is perfectly flat. The site was pretty empty in the low season, but last year in August I couldn't get to it. I'd love to come back now!
