Convenient location for sightseeing. Clean campground. Friendly staff

The so-called indoor, heated pool—it’s impossible to even dip a toe in it. They’d have to close off the sides… so it was unusable during our stay. The grocery store and snack bar facilities—both indoor and outdoor—need to be improved.

We enjoyed the peace and quiet and the space at our site (a cabin at the back of the campground). The hospitality and services are excellent.

The pool was dirty and clearly lacked proper filtration. Many tent sites have been replaced by modern, air-conditioned mobile homes, but they’re crammed right up against each other, with patios offering a direct view of the neighbors—no greenery or trees. It’s a shame that a family-friendly “scenic” campground has turned into a large resort where profit is the priority. The trash room was too small for the number of guests; everything was overflowing.

We spent three weeks here with friends and had a wonderful time. Large, spacious campsites, a lovely pool, and a large, clean restroom and shower area that’s kept very clean. Plus, there’s plenty of nature for great cycling.

Nice place to stay; we slept in the "nichoir." The pool was great, and we had a good meal at the restaurant. The campground is being upgraded with beautiful, modern new play areas for various age groups.

There was a lot of construction going on, which was annoying. Recently, a lot of new chalets have been built quite close together. We had ordered bread that we were supposed to pick up at 8 a.m., but apparently not on Mondays. We left without it; it was a mistake on the part of the front desk when we checked in…

Everything's perfect

Nice, spacious campsites, clean restrooms, friendly reception staff, and beautiful swimming pools.

The store has a limited selection, and there are many luxury cabins, which makes it feel less like a campground. It was still very quiet at the campground, at least until July 20. The campground was under construction: a large children’s play castle was still being built.

Nice reception, quick check-in process. Swimming pool for the children. Baguette available on site. Sanitary facilities are fine.

Unfortunately, this campsite has also seen an increase in the number of mobile homes. In 2024 there were still pitches for campers in the front rows. These have been replaced by mobile homes. The pitches are large and sufficient. Unfortunately, there are not enough water points where you can draw water for your mobile home. Sometimes you have to ask your neighbor if you can enter their pitch to get to the tap.

Sanitary facilities were new and of an excellent standard

The site was ongoing major refurbishment and many of the facilities, such as the shop, green spaces and café/restaurant were either dilapidated or completely unavailable.

Due to a change of ownership and failure to contact us to discuss this we did not stay at Camping Les Saules after enjoying many summer holidays in previous years on this site. We are unable to provide a review

Improve your communication with customers

The friendly staff, the space around our mobile home, the peace and quiet.

Fix the potholes on the access road, improve the campground signage at the entrance, repave the roads inside the campground, trim the greenery more, and why are so many new mobile homes placed so close together? Even having air conditioning doesn’t make up for that!

The campground is currently undergoing major renovations—which are much needed, as the mobile homes are dilapidated. However, we weren’t given any information at the time of booking about the change in ownership or the ongoing renovations! No Wi-Fi in the mobile homes Upon arrival, there weren’t enough sheets and towels for 9 people

The shower water is cold. A bedside lamp would be very useful in the bedrooms.

The campground is undergoing renovations; the sites aren't well-maintained… lawn mowing… mini-golf, etc… It feels like it's been left a bit neglected…. Otherwise, it's a quiet campground
