Very suitable for tents. Covered seating area with covered barbecue. The monastery is within walking distance. Mini market nearby

The specified restaurant is nearby, but does not cater for individual guests but only for registered groups.
So far o.k.
Small campsite with associated guesthouse. 2 toilets, 1 shower, relatively clean.

Camping at home
Camping is a square next to the "penzion", which is an ordinary converted house. On the square some canopy, toilets in the penzion building (there is also a kitchen), eventually we decided to stay in a room for 80 lei (that is, you can get cheaper). Some distance from the campsite a restaurant, a store,... and from 15-20 minutes the historic monastery from the UNESCO list. The staff was an elderly couple from a neighboring farm who spoke no language other than Romanian.

unkempt, not enough sanitary facilities.
Nothing special...
Very basic pitch with just one shower and 2 toilets. The grass had not yet been mown - but we were allowed to stand on the paved slabs to avoid sinking into the mud.

It's ok, but nothing more. We stayed in several more pleasant places in Romania, also in the same village. Firstly, we came across communication problem - fortunatelly, the staff's little knowledge of English sufficed to set the basics. About 10 AM next day we were asked, if we are preparing to go -... not really friendly. The owners are not very helpful either: when we inquired, if we could leave our car for 7 days (we wanted to set off for a mountain hike), we were told it was impossible that they kept it at the campsite and discouraged to ask other people in the village about such a "service" (of course, we wanted to pay for it). In another place we left it without any problems. As to a short description of the place, the campsite is located in the middle of a village, in a walk distance from the Humor Monastery. The immediate surroundings are not very picturesque, rather rural, but quite peaceful and the site offers a nice view over mountains. There is a shed with tables, benches, sink and fireplace for barbecue - useful for people sleeping in tents. Sanitaries are ok, cleaned daily, but water in the shower base doesn't flow down easily and you stand in it when having a shower - not a nice feeling. We paid 20 lei (ca. 4,5 €) for one night (two people, in a tent, they don't mind the size of it). According to our overall impression this price is just fine.
