...a bit pricey...
A large campground between Meersburg and Friedrichshafen.
Spacious and well-equipped campsites. The staff is very friendly, and the organization is exemplary. The restroom facilities are modern and very clean. There is also a small store that offers a bread roll delivery service, as well as a restaurant.

Location right on Lake Constance. Beautiful, spacious campsites. Cleanliness of the campground and the restroom facilities. Friendliness of all staff members

If anything, it's the beach with large, slippery pebbles
Beautiful campground right on Lake Constance
Great campground on Lake Constance. The campground is beautifully situated and has direct access to the lake. Lake Constance is very clean and warm. Because of the pebbles, people with limited mobility may have difficulty getting into the water.
The campground is very well-maintained and clean. It has... nice, clean restroom facilities. Unfortunately, there’s a fee for the showers. On the other hand, the dishwashers and washing machines are free to use.
We had a wonderful vacation and will definitely be back.

Vacation Whitsun 2026
We stayed at the Schloss Helmsdorf campsite for a week over Whitsun. The reception was very friendly. The groundsman took us straight to our pitch despite the reception being closed. We were able to register ourselves in a very relaxed manner after setting up. What stands out is the cleanliness and the... very good infrastructure. The sanitary building is sufficiently large and new. The toilet emptying system is modern/contemporary and was always clean. Free dishwashers are available for washing up. There is a small kiosk with a bread roll service directly on site. You don't have to order bread rolls in advance, there is a large selection available throughout the day. The pitches are located under old trees, are partially gravelled and are large enough. The access roads are paved and wide enough for easy maneuvering. The site has a separate dog beach, which is immaculate. The bathing meadow with direct access to Lake Constance is huge and well maintained. Nicer than many an outdoor pool. Immenstaad can be reached on foot in a few minutes. Conclusion: well-deserved 5 stars and keep up the good work!

Traffic noise from the nearby main road
Great short vacation
Without the traffic noise it would have been a perfect vacation. All the staff are nice and friendly. The CP is very well located for excursions. You can quickly get to Friedrichshafen by bike or take the BSB ships in all directions. The cleaning team really does a great job. The room for washing up... is a bit small for the size of the campsite. What I would like to see is fresh and waste water on the pitches, but that's complaining on a high level.

Beautiful place on Lake Constance
Stayed there again after 2 years and again completely satisfied. The staff very friendly and helpful (greetings to Paul) Sanitary facilities at all times, despite full occupancy, very very clean. Beautiful cycle paths along the lake. Meersburg and Constance easily accessible by bike. We cannot rate the restaurant.

Very well-kept facilities, clean sanitary buildings, helpful, hard-working and competent staff, well-stocked store, walking distance to the Immenstaad jetty, sensational playground, dishwashers and toilet cassette cleaning machine.
Olumsuz yanları
In places only 6 Amp. Power supply, WLAN, as so often, poor to non-existent, poor lighting on the paths to the tourist sites, showers with coins are sometimes too dark, shower time cannot be interrupted. Odor nuisance from drains at the water points, busy B 31 within earshot day and night
Vacation 2021 at the campsite Schloss Helmsdorf
Very good organization on arrival, you are guided to the pitch, many tourist pitches with a slight slope. Trees on the pitches are not visible on the site plan and are not communicated when making the reservation, pitching is sometimes difficult without a mover. The little helpers come almost daily and... collect fallen fruit and keep everything clean, extra requests, such as more gravel, are fulfilled as quickly as possible.
The restaurant (food very good, but expensive) is fully booked for at least 2 days, although there always seem to be a few tables free. Spontaneous dining or a nightcap on the terrace at sunset is not possible. But you can get a drink in your hand and then sit on the harbor wall with a view over the lake and the mountains. The staff in the restaurant are sometimes a bit gruff with the camping guests, but there are also many guests from outside and boat owners, so you don't have to rely on everyone.
Bathing shoes are highly recommended for swimming, but the shore and the bay are suitable for all forms of water sports and swimming. There is no barrier for non-swimmers and no lifeguards, and the storm warning lights along the lakeshore are not reliable.
The entrance and exit is confusing and dangerous due to crossing side roads and cycle paths, a mirror on the other side of the road would help.
The site and cleaning staff are absolutely great and hardworking all day.

One of the most beautiful campsites on Lake Constance
New and very nice sanitary facilities. They are constantly cleaned. The campsite has a harbor and you can bring your own boat. The staff are very friendly and the restaurant is also great! There is also a shop for fresh bread rolls and everyday items. There are bar tables in front of the shop where you... can have a coffee with a great view of Lake Constance.
The playground is brand new and very nice. There is also a large sunbathing lawn with access to swimming in the lake!

Clean - we will be back
A very good campsite
Very clean, sufficient WC and showers (0,10€ for 40s sec.)
Location directly on the lake with a large beach
Bread rolls good and tasty in the morning Price not exaggerated - everything tip-top
If you were looking for a fly in the ointment then it would be the (justified) price - three of us - one child - were there for a week during the Whitsun vacations and paid €350 for everything (premium pitch)

Peter and Sylvia motorhome owners. Age 60 and 65
A beautiful campsite located directly on the lake. It can be booked online. We were completely satisfied with everything that was offered there. The friendliness of the staff is outstanding at this campsite. Everything is very clean and motorhomes and campers have separate pitches. There is also a marina right next to the campsite. We will definitely come back again.

Beautiful campsite directly on Lake Constance ...
The campsite is beautifully situated on Lake Constance. The town of Immenstaad is within easy walking distance and there are shopping facilities (REWE, bakery, etc.). The friendliness of the campsite staff deserves special mention. Excursions to Meersburg and Friedrichshafen are possible by bike. Furthermore, campers receive the BodenseeCard echt, which entitles them to use public transport free of charge.

Clean place. Friendly reception. Professional service at check-in and check-out. Attractive restaurant. Pleasantly quiet in the evening.
Olumsuz yanları
Noticeable unfriendliness in the lower part of the year-round long-term tenants. Self-proclaimed "place kings" rule over their "empire"
Self-proclaimed "space kings" ruin a lot of things.
The place is ok. The prices are fair. Unfortunately, however, an unpleasant independent "hierarchy" has formed in the lower part of the site (long-term tenants). Some self-appointed "site kings" apparently have more to say there than the official site management. Unpleasant confrontations are inevitable.

A super great place. We have been camping for 30 years but such friendliness from all the staff is more than rare. Great restaurant, the Lädle has everything you need, for more choice there is the Kaufland in the immediate vicinity. Top sanitary facilities. Pitches huge (if you know what to book) 😉... We never travel to the same place twice we want variety and comparisons, but should it come to a repetition then only on this place. For us it deserves 5 stars. Showering from 10 cents was great, you didn't have to throw in 50 cents if you needed a little more water. Was great with 10 cents. Those who can't afford it should stink!

Very well-kept facility, very clean sanitary facilities (multiple daily cleaning), great "Lädle", friendly + helpful staff
Olumsuz yanları
Showers (10 cents for 40 seconds), somewhat cramped parking spaces
Booked again straight away and would do so again at any time.
Despite the small shortcomings, it is a very nice, well-kept place. We booked again immediately and are looking forward to our next visit. The restaurant impressed us with its cuisine, the friendly staff and the outdoor area at the hotel's own little harbor. We also liked the "Lädle" with its fresh and delicious baked goods.

Great place right on the lake, newly renovated, friendly and clean sanitary facilities, great restaurant, own marina
Olumsuz yanları
As the site is quite close to the B31, the top rows are a bit noisy
Very nice, well-kept campsite
The campsite is located directly on the lake, with its own marina and a really great restaurant with beer garden (where you should make a reservation). The tourist pitches are large and very well maintained, the "Lädele" is adequately equipped and the sanitary facilities are large, clean and newly renovated,... as is the registration/reception area. The staff are very friendly, even late arrivals due to traffic jams are no problem. Ideally located for bicycle tours with children in the direction of Friedrichshafen or Meersburg. There is a revolving gate for pedestrians to Immenstaad, where you can eat well in the evening or take a boat from the jetty to an excursion destination.

No real disadvantage: I would have liked to have had paper towels to clean the washbasins and taps after brushing my teeth, among other things
Super place, location,...just great!!!
This was the best vacation for us so far on a very well-maintained campsite in a great location with lots of opportunities to explore the Lake Constance region in all directions by bus and train (free use of the guest card). Cycle path directly at the campsite. We and our friends were very enthusiastic, not least because of the always cheerful and friendly groundsman Paul. Many greetings from pitches 42 and 43. We would love to come back!!!!

Apartment was great
We rented an apartment on the complex. Super condition and everything very clean. Kitchen equipment could be a little better, otherwise the view of the lake from the balcony and the small harbor in front of the house was fantastic. The complex is in very good condition and the staff on site and also in the restaurant suuuuper friendly. The food is very good and the small store is also great.
