I think the place is great, but the customers are being ripped off. It's outrageous that they expect you to wait until 2 p.m. just because that's what it says, and the unfriendly staff at the counter is totally unacceptable.

Unfortunately, the campsite is overrun with dog owners. Most of them don't have their four-legged friends under control. We only saw a few children.
Stay in September 2025
The campsite should be divided into two areas so that vacationers without dogs can also enjoy their vacation in peace.
We have been going there for years but we have never experienced it as bad as this year.

Beautiful campsite
It was our first time at this campsite. We received a very friendly welcome at reception. Even without a reservation, it was possible to get a nice and mostly shady pitch. This was near the sanitary building no. 3, which is probably the oldest sanitary building on the campsite, but it was perfectly ok.... If you prefer something newer and more modern, sanitary building no. 2 is also not far away. A cycle path runs right past the campsite. You can also start short or longer hikes directly from the campsite. After our daily excursions, we enjoyed the wonderful peace and quiet on the campsite in the afternoons. The campsite is about 4 km from the small town of Barth. There are a few stores and supermarkets there. We and our dog enjoyed the beach walks on the west beach of Fischland-Darß. You can also have a wonderful swim in the Baltic Sea there. In addition to textile bathing, nudism is also possible there. However, it is about 25 km away by road. After we felt very comfortable here we would like to come again.

Great campsite
A very clean campsite. The sanitary facilities are great. You could go on great bike tours from our campsite. Also excursions to Rostock or Stralsund. A visit to the amber factory is highly recommended. It was 7 kilometers by bike to the Baltic Sea.

Natural campsite in a beautiful location
The campsite offers a relaxing and peaceful camping experience in beautiful surroundings. Bringing or renting a bike is highly recommended to enjoy the surrounding nature including the Baltic Sea.

I didn't like the fact that there are people who don't have their dogs under control. But the campsite or the owner(s) have no influence on that
Good starting point
Centrally located for exploring the area by bike. Spacious pitches with every comfort. Clean and new sanitary facilities. If you need shade, take a pitch under the trees, but then you have to reduce your comfort requirements a little. Water and waste water are not available on site. We didn't make use of the restaurant, so no rating. We stayed on the site for two weeks. Any time again.

Beautiful tent vacation
Ideal location for exploring Fischland-Darß by bike and boat. Quiet location.
We pitched our tent on a comfort pitch on the reception side of the campsite. We will do the same on our next visit. However, you have to be aware that there are no large trees on this side to provide shade.
We found it pleasant... that the campsite became quiet quite quickly in the evening.
The small store had everything you need for a snack - the bread rolls were delicious. Unfortunately, as in the restaurant, it was not possible to pay by card.
The sanitary facilities are modern and were always clean. However, the site was relatively empty at the time of our visit.
For us, the campsite will remain the preferred destination for vacations in this area of MV.

beautiful place, ideal for visiting Fischland Darß
We stayed on the site for 5 days with the motorhome. The grassy pitches are quite large.
There are several sanitary facilities, all of which are very clean. Showers are included in the price. We were there at the beginning of September and the site was half full and very quiet. The staff are very friendly... and the site is well structured. Disposal simply top!!!
There is a mini market that has everything you need including a bread roll service, reasonably priced.
We sat in the restaurant at the beginning and, as we were alone, got into conversation with the landlord. His political views made us refrain from a further visit. Everyone has their opinion and should express it, but there are limits.
But that's not the CP's fault. We will come back when we are in the area again.

Beautiful place with compromises
The site is ideally located for exploring Fischland-Darß-Zingst (by bike). In the high season the area is very crowded, but the place is basically beautiful. The main sanitary facilities with the reception were modern and mostly very clean. The camping toilet disposal is housed in a small hut, which... is in great need of improvement. The cleaning machine was broken during our stay (2 weeks). The small store had everything you need, but is far too small during the morning rush hours. The on-site restaurant is ok, but quite expensive for what is on offer. Unfortunately there are no bathing facilities.

Good access even for large mobile homes, new sanitary building very good (toilets a bit deep), bread service good, restaurant very tasty, WLAN extremely expensive and very slow (or not receivable) DVB t2 and DAB reception also very poor. Cleanliness in the sanitary building very good. Excursions to Zingst,... Bahr and Prerow possible by bike. Beautiful bike paths. Reception could give a little more information about the area (bus connections etc.).
Tiny beach 500 meters away on the Bodden.

8 years of camping in Pruchten.
Like I said, I've been going every year for 8 years or more. The staff are super nice and friendly. When I'm a pensioner :-) I'll be a permanent camper.

Bumpy driveway with huge puddles after the rain
A beautiful vacation in a wonderful area on a great campsite
We spent over 2 weeks at the campsite. We had a very nice pitch on the old part of the site, which we liked better overall than the new part. Thanks to the Crane Weeks offer, the price-performance ratio was excellent. The sanitary facilities are very clean and well maintained and equipped with underfloor... heating. In general, the whole site is very well maintained, only the access road from the road is in poor condition. The restaurant, which impressed us with its excellent cuisine, deserves special mention. There is also a small store with a bread roll service. The bread rolls came from a baker in Zingst and were delicious. The campsite is very centrally located for excursions in the beautiful surrounding area. We did and saw a lot. All in all, highly recommended!

I found it a little unclean. Unfortunately there are campers who do not behave appropriately and treat other people's property with disrespect, a pity.
Nice, but could be improved
Beautiful campsite, good cycle paths. Prerow and Zingst, wonderful. Good access and very nice reception. Unfortunately not suitable for swimming but nice activities in all directions.

beautiful well-kept campsite on the Darß
We stayed here for a few days in July and our impression was very positive. A cycle path at the campsite leads directly to the Baltic Sea (approx. 7km). The water is only a few hundred meters away, an ideal kite spot for us.

beautiful campsite
-Reception
very friendly, check-in and check-out perfect, take time for requests of all kinds
-Sanitary facilities
Very good, everything clean, showers spacious, WC cubicles spacious and closed all the way to the floor.
-Pitch comfort
Well-kept site, pitch nice and large and level, electricity, water... and waste water directly at the pitch, no flooding in the awning even in heavy rain, perfect.
Central waste disposal, toilets can be emptied at every corner and centrally, there is even a vending machine:-)
As the campsite is close to the water and it is "fresh/salt water", there are unfortunately mosquitoes...but you can keep them away with the combination of ThermaCell, Antibrumm and mosquito spirals.
-Restaurant
Good.... Service very friendly, food very good, generous portions, the spicy prawns are a dream and highly recommended, price/performance ok, shortcoming: the service is a bit overwhelmed from the "first round" and there are very long waiting times.....the wait for the 2nd drink brings you close to dying of thirst :-D
-Supermarket
There is everything you need, bread rolls to order in advance, prices acceptable

-Poor
The access road to the campsite entrance is very bumpy and the sometimes extreme hills with cobblestones are dangerous for a caravan. Despite being careful, the jockey wheel touched down twice. They should be removed urgently!
Unfortunately, we also have to say this: Some guests should think about their behavior and consideration! In the evening, well after 10pm, the doors of the mobile homes are slammed shut for all they're worth...sorry, but you really have to ask whether these people have a chip on their shoulder...it's a shame that there isn't a groundsman to control the night's rest like there used to be...you also have to ask some parents whether it's really necessary to let their offspring between the caravans with a soccer at 7:30am.

We had a rental bathroom for 4 weeks, very nicely furnished. However, despite the price, it was not cleaned by the operator in between. Would have been expected.

Nice place. The restaurant / menu is ok. The new sanitary buildings are great. The older ones are also clean. Good starting point to explore the area. Bicycle should be included.
