There's a lot of algae in the lake and hardly any places to launch SUPs (large lake)
Everything's great, even the gluten-free food
There were just the two of us in the caravan, and we were parked at Haas 10, surrounded by pine trees. There were several spots where we could hang hammocks. The trees provide plenty of shade over most of the campground. The sites are huge but laid out side by side. There’s plenty of space in front and... on the sides. Our spot in our section had electricity, TV, water, and sewer hookups. The restrooms are clean and, in our opinion, typically Dutch in their container-style design. They were cleaned up to twice a day. The infrastructure at this large campground is good. There’s a supermarket, laundry facility, reception, swimming pool, lake, and restaurants. The restaurant offers a variety of dishes, including gluten-free options, which we always rely on. That was great! On Sundays and Wednesdays, they also had pizza available for takeout. The entire campground, with all its amenities, made a great impression. Eindhoven is just a 30-minute bike ride away. But small towns like Mierlo are also very nice. We’d definitely come back.

Great place
Huge square with lots of water. Lots of playgrounds for children. Dogs are welcome. Also excellent for a short trip. Sanitary facilities were okay. Showers could be cleaner.

An amazingly large site in a beautiful larch forest, just outside Eindhoven. Booking/arrival is all online, you get the chip card in advance and drive directly to the pitch, if you don't want to you don't see any staff, the problem is that from 4 p.m./5 p.m. there is no one on the pitch if there is something... going on or neighbors are making palaver. Swimming pool, bathing lake, restaurant, entertainment, supermarket, tennis court, mini golf, everything is there, just a bit far away. The supermarket is extremely expensive, I would rather shop elsewhere. You can also rent chalets, but they look a bit run down, which is probably where the negative reviews come from. The campsite itself is top, clean, well-kept and straight pitches. Electricity, water, waste water and TV on the pitch. Wifi on the whole site free of charge and at a 1a speed, streaming without any problems, which is a good thing, you can forget the satellite TV. There was some sun and some shade at any time of day. There are also a few glamping tents. The restaurant is anything but cheap, but delicious. There is also a bike rental and pedal boats at the restaurant. Sanis old, but always clean! The showers are always clean, but have a ventilation problem, very humid and the air is stagnant. Unfortunately, the water temperature is not freely selectable. Dogs allowed. You can get the daily program, news, opening hours, etc. at any time via a link. It is very relaxing to walk around the lake, there are always corners to hide away and slow down, to enjoy the peace and quiet. Although the campsite offers so much and is great value for money, it was quiet and not overcrowded. On the contrary, I can't understand why there was so much free space. Perhaps the camping world simply hasn't discovered this place yet?
