Suitable for short stays
The campsite is located near the picturesque town of Bergen op Zoom. Unfortunately, the sanitary facilities are not very clean. There was a toilet block near my stable pitch, reminiscent of the toilets at fairs. If you want to enter the campsite by car, you need a pitch card, for which you have to pay... a deposit of €20. You are given a bin bag for your garbage, with the instruction not to use any others. Antwerp is about 40 km away. This campsite is the last one before the Belgian border. You should stay on the Dutch side because the Belgian campsites are of a very poor standard.

The site is ideal for exploring the southern Netherlands. Rotterdam is not far away, Breda and the surrounding area is a tourist destination and Middelburg is also worth a visit. The site has a large meadow and play area. A heated swimming pool makes it attractive. The sanitary facilities are very different,... the old ones are a bit dilapidated, the new ones are quite well equipped but could be cleaner. The snack bar is a little poor, shopping is only possible in the nearby town.
