We’re sorry that the cleanliness of the restrooms did not meet your expectations. Our main restroom facility will be completely renovated for the 2027 season. In the meantime, we remain particularly vigilant about its daily maintenance.
Regarding... the booking fee, it covers the processing and guarantee of your reservation. Our campground is often fully booked during the season, and without a reservation, there may be no availability upon your arrival.
Finally, opening the gate at 7:30 a.m. is a decision we’ve made to preserve the peace and quiet of our campers by limiting noise disturbances during the early hours of the day.

The “Loire Riverfront” campsites are a bit narrow, but they’re well-defined by small hedges that provide a bit of privacy. The campground is very quiet. The tall trees lining the Loire provided shade until noon, so we could wake up and enjoy a cool breakfast! The pool is perfect, and the restrooms are very decent. The staff is friendly and efficient, and so are the bar (which we tried) and the restaurant (which we didn’t try)! As for the pigeons, they certainly seem to enjoy our beautiful riverside location as much as our guests do! Being right on the banks of the Loire means we share the campsite... with plenty of wildlife. While we do our best to manage the trees, we also want to preserve the natural environment that makes the campsite so special.

As for the lounge chairs, we’ve placed them all around the pool. It’s difficult to add more without obstructing traffic around the pool.
As for the restrooms, we are aware that the main building is old, and a complete... renovation is planned for 2027.

Regarding your pitch, we completely understand your comments.... Unfortunately, because we are located in a protected natural area, we are not allowed to cut back the trees or vegetation along the Loire. While some guests love the shade and wildlife, we appreciate that pigeons can sometimes be less welcome!
