In some of the showers, there isn’t even a hook to hang towels and other items, let alone a shelf to set down shower gel and the like. When we were there at the end of May, only Washhouse 1 was open. The disposal station for chemical toilets is very hard to find and is located quite far away. The Euro-Strom outlets are fused at only 3 amps. Therefore quite shady. Not suitable for larger caravans or mobile homes. Pizzeria, swimming pool and rental hut area still ok, the other part for campers could be described as a "graveyard of permanent campers". Ancient caravans, some of which... have not been used for years, eke out an existence. Others have built castle-like structures around their caravans. Not necessarily a feel-good area. Waste separation is a top priority, but no one is bothered by weathered plastic tarpaulins, leftover pipes and a trail of oil across half the campsite. The simple sanitary facilities at the top of the hill were always clean, however, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Bread roll service and minimarket not available. The restaurant/pizzeria was ok. The sea access in front of the campsite is very rocky, accessible beach only after about 1km. We were traveling with the caravan this time, otherwise only by motorcycle. My experience about campsite calapineta. * Great value for money. * Great offers for nice activities for young and old. * Very nice location in the middle of the pine forest just a few meters from the sea. * The forest... invites you not only for a smooth walk along the coast, but also many small coves for a refreshment in the sea. * Recommended value: 1/2h North of the forest along the coast is a beautiful large beach "la caletta" in the village of St. Lucia. * The campsite is also ideal for day trips (own car) Costa Smeralda, Cala Canone, Brewery, Arbatax, etc., all without any stress and enough time to enjoy everything. The bungalow lived up to expectations, the pine forest is fantastic. For the most beautiful beaches you have to move a few kilometers. The staff at the campground is very friendly. To cite an example that struck us: our 10-year-old son realized he did... not have his favorite ring on his finger while we were in Olbia for boarding (tragedy!!!). We hopelessly contacted the recepion, and they not only went to search the bungalow, they retrieved the ring and delivered it to our home without even accepting reimbursement for shipping costs.
