Only the behavior of some dog owners sometimes leaves something to be desired. - David Z.juni 2025Super place !Very nice place with lots of greenery. What we unfortunately have to criticize are the toilets. We were there over the men's day and the place was fully booked and the toilets should have been cleaned more often and, above all, refilled. The ladies ran out of toilet paper at 4pm and the men's toilets... smelled very strongly of urine towards the evening. The showers were great though!
On the men's day there was music at the restaurant with a bratwurst stand, unfortunately you could only order from the service staff and they were understaffed and simply had to deal with the seated guests, which was a shame and so we ate somewhere else.

However, a storm came up overnight and our motorhome rocked considerably. In the morning we could hardly get out of the door. We were then able to move to a site sheltered from the wind without any problems. That's... just the risk of the 1st row. Otherwise, a great, clean and well-structured site with first-class sanitary facilities and very friendly staff. Wismar is just a few kilometers away via cycle paths, some with views of the Baltic Sea. It is also easy to cycle towards Boltenhagen.

You are welcomed by very friendly staff and everything is explained when you arrive for the first time.
We had a great pitch on the tent meadow, which was nicely laid out.
We really liked the partial separation by planting. The sanitary facilities were always clean and well maintained. The small store has everything you need, otherwise Wismar is 10 km away by bike... The bus runs every hour...
All in all we were the first, but not the last time with you...

The facilities are above average overall, such as the large indoor pool, ice rink(!), restaurant - really recommendable and we were also able... to use them with our dog. Super friendly and helpful staff at check-in and everywhere else, who always make you feel welcome. Unfortunately we were only passing through for two nights, but will definitely be back. The cleanliness was very good and we also liked... the store. The prices were good and fair and all the staff were friendly.
The only point of criticism and actually also a major shortcoming are the showers. We were not told on arrival that we only had 3 minutes to shower. No shower cards for the children either.
5 minutes is the minimum amount of time a woman needs to shower with long hair.

Not so great was the condition of our wash house. Always very dirty again very quickly because some guests went in with their dirty shoes. There was also often no paper in some of the toilet cubicles.
It was also a pity that the beach was heavily soiled with mud.... It was only cleaned on the day of departure (Maundy Thursday). Didn't do us any good.
Something should be done at these points.
